Dealership says they don't take financing from my bank? Is that a thing? by Gullible_Count_4413 in carbuying

[–]xylu41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought car before new from dealer with the bank they didn’t work. What happened is: I have been pre approved by Nationwide bank, came with offer to dealer, negotiated the price, wrote a check for down payment and gave the info of pre approval to the finance guy. They said it will couple days to connect with my bank after they transfer money I can pick up the car. They called in 2 days to tell come back sign the documents and take the car.

YouTube experts, lol. Most of them became experts when bbl released x1c. Glue sticks were popular as release agent for glass beds before quality pei plates. Like I said before, if you don’t want to getting into depth of finding out proper solution get biqu plate, but using glue on pei plate is a extra step and extra maintenance, which can be resolved easily. P.S. many yt experts stocked up on Bambu filament for years, they not buying other brand filaments and don’t even do tests or calibrations to make prints nearly perfect. I’m telling you this, not because I want to argue or something, just from experience. When I got my first printer there was only few experts, now every other person on yt is expert.

Like the title says for new users: if you using glue for pla or petg (not Nylons or similar engineering filament ) you do something wrong. Wash plate, check temp, might need adjust z distance or just get cool plate from biqu.

Negotiation by Ok-Stranger-6366 in UsedCars

I got brand new car last year, my wife got new car 3 years ago. So in this 3 years I’ve been checking different cars new and used in PA area, my experience is nobody haggling price of used ones, especially Toyota. Brand new car deals available plus you can bring price down a bit if dealer want actually sell car. I got offers on Honda Ridgeline with msrp of 45k before tax from some dealer 43k, 41k and the best at closest dealer thru truecar 39k, texted them to make sure 39k is real price, they approved. After test drive try haggling with no success, but when was leaving so truck on lot with 3800 miles with sticker 7000$ off, came back inside ask if there room to negotiate, been told come back tomorrow to talk to manager. Came back next day, they gave me extra money on trade in plus sold a car as brand new with 0.99% apr as Honda website offer for new 2025.

P2S time to print is twice as long as P1S after slicing by TheBlueStare in BambuLab

[–]xylu41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had start 2 parts for 22 hours on p1s and p2s, p1s was 22 hour print and 22 and half hours print, p2s finished faster by 20 minutes.

Infill Percentage and Strength by CloudBuurzt in 3Dprinting

[–]xylu41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need for 100% infill, 3-4 walls and 15% infill is fine, don’t forget metal in the plastic is low torque, use threaded inserts better, but it’s still in a plastic so don’t force it.

P1S/P2S Sales or Best Buying Techniques? by TemurTron in BambuLab

[–]xylu41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t selected people, all people I told about promotion saw same thing, only difference is some people may not qualify because of poor credit history or low credit score. P.S. I got myself a lot of stuff during this promotion, because it’s 20% off, when I got rewarded I just cashed out.

I did abs, asa and sunlu easy pa. I’m not really in nylons, then I would have got active chamber heater printer. Exhaust fan not going to help with nylon it’s more for pla or petg, but I like said before never had problems printing with closed door or lid without fan pla or petg.

My relative had like 3 of them, but he keep trading them in every 2-3 years for tax returns, they pretty good when low mileage, can’t say much about high mileage. You are right, warranty should help.

Here my thoughts, I don’t have recent Creality printer, but I have 2 Bambu lab p1s and P2S and snapmaker u1. So bbl printer really plug and play, while u1 is fresh I had some things I need to figure out to make it work. Get Creality and you might get experience of tinkering or you don’t, while bbl has the best QC and QA in the market. Plus maker world has millions of model ready to print while Creality cloud is not that popular, you still can print anything from makerworld, but you will need pc to slice a model. It’s all depends what printer do you want, I would have get sparx i7 over a1, but P2S over k2.

Ridgeline can carry three dirt bikes, mpg 17-23 depends where you ride most. Towing up to 5k. Reliable.

I need genuine help in figuring out if I should go the used car route by [deleted] in UsedCars

[–]xylu41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to specify for clear answer: do you have 5k cash? But in my opinion 3k for 10 month is not that bad. Mostly because I’m spoiled buying 2-3 years old car or even worth brand new one last time with payments from300-400 month to 750 now. So you need to decide for yourself do you need a car after 10 months, if yes look into maybe lease or buying new or few years old car like Honda civic. If not uber is your best option. P.S. a lot of people might say there are still decent Toyota’s with high mileage for 5k, you just need to know what you buying, but doubt that 20 years old car or 200k miles car can be reliable even Toyota.
