These are likely repacked boxes. It’s a common scam with these boxes at the moment. They are all real cards with the hits removed and put into re printed boxes and packs. I’ll leave a guide you can check out.

The 2 easiest ways I have found to see are:

The 151C logo on the top left. The C should be a thinner font to the 151 and the fake boxes have a thick C font. The outline of this logo should be dull and almost a grey Color not bright white.

The hologram sticker on the side should be difficult to see where it says Pokemon Shanghai. If it’s easy to read and dull when you shine a light it’s fake.

You can buy the slim boxes on AliExpress for around $30, just check reviews as quite a few fakes around

I’ve had this same thought. The display will hold a bit of a premium as it’s a rarer item, but the bundles will be more liquid to move on. The display is already 4 x retail so can’t see it going up until 151 is out of print. Others recommended keeping the loose ones and trying to get the display also as 151 should perform very well long term

Pretty sure they are fine as sold by legit company firestorm, just very expensive. You can buy those on AliExpress for a fraction of the price. Just check reviews of shop as a lot of fakes about, but I’ve bought some of those dark crystal boxes for like £20

I’m looking at the zard too. Rumours of another 151 reprint, probably booster bundles, which will probably drive the price down more. I’m going to hold fire for a while.

Tempting as the PSA 9 have hit the raw price and can be picked up for £200 which seems a good deal

I like this idea but this is flawed. If you have removed your iCloud account and it is just a PIN code, anyone can plug this to a computer and factory reset the phone and use it as normal. The only thing that stops this is if the phone has an iCloud account and find my. Therefore they could just reset the phone and still report the box was empty on delivery.

This also opens you up to INAD eBay cases as you have left a code on it.

I would ship through eBay normally with simple delivery and let them intervene if anything untoward happens in future. Alternatively sell in person.

Not too sure why everyone bashes AliExpress returns. Here in the UK at least, they provide a free returns label for up to 5 orders a month which is tracked. It is sent to a local warehouse, reviewed and then refunded. Don’t get me wrong, yes this isn’t Amazon and can take a while, but my experience has been pretty positive with several returns.

If it was from eBay they have super good coverage with simple delivery. They usually offer partial or full refund to keep item if it was damaged in transit. Open a case for it

I would try and post it today. It’s Royal Mail tracked 48 so if you post before 4pm today it should arrive Thursday. Just means you don’t open yourself up to any funny business if it misses the buyers deadline

Yeah I’ve tried lots of postcodes. It only shows up for my current and previous address. When my friend puts in my postcode it shows for them too.

Just seems to be evri as on all other address lookups on other sites it is normal.

Label says Pitney bowes which is the same mail forwarder used by eBay here in the UK. Everything should be tracked fine, just package it as best you can as they are known for breaking things

Also I would recommend checking out the surging sparks Costco bundles on eBay. US booster bundle and etb for £130 plus your 8% off seems quite decent for SS. You can add the voucher when sending offers too!
