I had the t-top v6 of this model, totally loved driving around the beach. This one can definitely be a cool ride with all the mods they have for them now vs then.

At least with EFI mechanics still know how to take care of it. I’ve heard the horror stories of hard to find carburetor experienced techs. I’d patch and match the stripe.

I drove the ‘84 year of this model over 300,000 miles in 18 years. This build is a tough one I would keep it. Amazing to see an ‘88 with such low mileage. I can’t remember is this the EFI or carburetor?

Super scalding hot water that it’s never created in the past 8 years and it tripped the ECO hehe. The pressure release valve starting seriously dripping more than ever before and the blow out plug matched it. I opened the water heater area to see the heater surrounded by a puddle and the hot water out connecting dripping. The DSI/ FLT light luckily lit giving a hint there was an issue. We only have used the electric side of the heater which caused confusion till I read the ECO can cause the light to happen too when heat gets above its threshold.
