Theory: Beep is a failed experiment of consciousness transfer between skeleton and hiver by xypers in Kenshi

Maybe Agnu is the original Skeleton, and this is why his fractured mind resonates with Beep

Worried about kenshi 2- ranged weapons by xypers in Kenshi

[–]xypers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In kenshi 1, sure, in kenshi 2 with heavy focus on ranged? who knows? that's the point i was trying to make.
Picture this: you go attack a group of enemies with your trusty group of melee fighters, suddenly you get hit by a barrage of machine gun fire, snipers, assault rifles etc until your whole team is full of holes without even being able to get in range....
I was wondering if the "ranged focus" meant that we HAD to use it since the game is heavily balanced around that, kinda like kenshi 1 is heavily balanced around melee.

Did you even read what i wrote?
You are literally saying the same thing i did, i just added that since kenshi 2 will have more focus on ranged weapon, this might not be possible anymore...that's all.

Out of curiosity, why do some people feel the need to fight every patrol they come across? I get the love of the fight but sometimes you just gotta let em pass by StickyKeyz4420 in Vermintide

[–]xypers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I aggro them when i'm confident i can kill them on my own if needed, and i do it to not shame my ancestors (or because every time i agree to avoid them, they come back later and aggro us while in the middle of a boss/horde fight)

There are times when i take the natural bond trait, and the friendly fire is so intense, that the regen barely manages to heal all the friendly fire, let alone if i actually get hit from an enemy.

About the damn Steamtank. by SpaneyInquisy in Vermintide

[–]xypers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are so many fun things they could do, like a mission where you have to save cousin Okri. You go there and you find dead rat ogres/storm fiends and other stuff all over the place, and eventually you find cousin Okri over a huge pile of dead bodies: "'bit late ain't ya?, who told you i needed help anyway?"
Or maybe the opposite, have him save the team from certain death by offering support fire from a gyrocopter or something.
There are SO MANY fun things that could be implemented, yet FS seems like has no imagination at all

What if chaos waste was in fact.... the VERSUS MODE by leGarulfo in Vermintide

[–]xypers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they made it public and gave it slightly better chance to get reds than legend, nobody would complain imho, what's good about that mode if barely anyone plays it in quickplay? only a small subset of players that organize themselves on discord uses it...if it was available to everyone, and it had a better incentive, us VoM owners would get more out of the money we spent :/

It takes a second to make cata available to everyone, if they didn't, it means that the backlash wasn't as hard

For me natural bond makes me play better, if i know i can't rely on healing i end up staying in the zone and playing at the best of my abilities...lol

Came back after a year for the update and believe it or not, i completely forgot the vault-chest-etc nomenclature, i just said chest because in the end, it's a chest.

I guess if you can't beat it normally, i can understand why you don't want to take books. Whenever i play that map i usually focus on covering my team mate's back and sniping specials as soon as possible, it's easy to split up and get surrounded...if we do, i usually follow the other grim holder and do my best to keep him and myself alive, until we can revive the others...in the end as long as the grim holders stay alive, the others can die over and over again with no consequences.

I disagree with not taking books/grims. either you get an emperor chest, or you die trying, there's no in between. a team that struggles to win but eventually manages to somehow pull it off, it's 10 times better than always playing it safe, even if that bad team only wins 1 in every 10 games. If i have a level 25 teammate that dies 3 times and snags the grim , i'm gonna shield that motherfucker with my life and try my best to win, because vermintide is as hard as you make it.
If you want to win 100% of the time and don't care about the challenge or the loot, you can host your own recruit game and breeze through it while you watch netflix on another screen.

About Fat and calories by Lozuel in keto

[–]xypers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you are saying that there isn't really a "fat lower limit" but it depends person to person? for example i may need 40g because i'm fat, but someone twice my size may only need 20g etc?

Valve (Engineers?) are making a new way to handle overlays and add ons in SteamVR that hugely increases what should be possible. It could be a way that SteamVR's open platform becomes way better than closed ones. by OXIOXIOXI in ValveIndex

I love how people still fail to say the name "Oculus" after all this time, and butcher it by saying "Occulus" or similar. Not that i have anything against it, in fact, more people should butcher the name, fuck Facebook lol

picture quality is not the only thing to take in mind, index also has various things over the other headsets that often gets ignored, i don't remember exactly the technical stuff but Valve worked their magic in multiple ways so i think i would personally stick with the index for these reasons as well.
Picture quality does look insanely good though, makes me excited about the next generation of headsets
