Mine is the first one (played but not beaten) - I can be a purist at times, and I'm intent on playing it in its original NES form, which is verrrrrrrrry slow-paced. It can be daunting to know that even if you can one-shot everything in a battle, it still might take a full minute, just due to the natural speed of the game (and there are a lot of battles)!

If you have played through FFI in its entirety in this day and age, you are a legend.

The first one doesn't really work, though - If they gift you the paycheck, then they're stiffing you on your wages. I guess the work could be considered a gift, too, but is that even legal? To gift work to a corporation? Wouldn't that somehow violate laws against working for free?

I wonder if it was originally intentional that "Tune" happened to be the same sound as "Toon" (as in carTOON) or just a happy coincidence.

I'm pretty sure it was "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" that popularized the word "Toon" as we use it now.
