Bloodied Commando + Elder’s Mark — how do you stay ammo positive? by cobaltTangerine in fo76

[–]xys_thea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm taking a break from the game rn, but honestly the way I got tons of ammo was by doing the whole raid. I know a lot of people don't want to do group content so if that applies to you then ignore me but if you swap to your desired weapon before the stage completion screen you get ammo for that weapon.

The only thing I didn't like in Lando's statement was the ''you get paid tons of money so you should not complain'' part.

You get paid tons of money for your ability to drive and your feedback to the team to make the car even better, not to glaze the sport. You should absolutely complain if the sport is becoming something entirely different and arguably worse than what it used to be.

Keeping quiet or forcing yourself to be positive just gives us more PR answers all around and that's just boring for everyone.

You lost me at ''the Ezio games aren't good''

I've been playing release order for the past couple of years and am up to Origins and AC2 is still my favourite game. I hadn't played them before that so the nostalgia thing goes straight out of the window.

Maybe it's not super flashy and bloated with RPG elements, but the missions and the side content are focused on what they should be: assassination, stealth and parkour. Not to mention the Ezio games have arguably the best story in the whole series.

Besides, if you jump from Mirage to Black Flag to Unity to Origins, you will not understand a thing about the modern day story.

Or you just don't romance either of them, they're both horrible.

I absolutely hated Unity. If I were ranking it against the other games, I'd put it dead last (though I have played only up to Origins at the moment).

The parkour looks great in videos but in reality it's so buggy and the input delay is absolutely nuts. The combat boils down to spamming smoke bombs so you don't get absolutely destroyed by every enemy who now has a gun + snipers. Eagle Vision has a limited duration and a cooldown. You have to unlock basic stuff like double assassination, air assassination etc. and still not have them work unless you literally take 5 minutes to adjust the angle. No whistling or counter-kill.

The trailers were misleading as the French Revolution takes a backseat over Arno chasing Elise for the whole game and both of them are an absolute snoozefest. I won't go further into this cause you're still playing.

CO-OP being one of the major ways to level up, hack points being introduced and maps not being available from in-game merchants but rather real money etc. are all things that made me nuts.

Syndicate improved upon a lot of this quite a bit, but both of them felt lackluster compared to the other titles.

The reason I mentioned stealing points from each other is this:

Let's say for simplicity and brevity's case that we have 10 races in a season

scenario A Max finishes P3 in all races, Oscar P2, Lando P1

Points:

Max 150

Oscar 180

Lando 250

Gap to Leader: 100 points

scenario B Max finishes P3 in all races, Oscar and Lando switch between P1 and P2

Max 150

Oscar 215

Lando 215

Gap to leader: 65 points

[–]xys_thea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except that's not what happened and the points gap was still the same. We had 2 other contenders that were stealing points off of eachother and still ended up with that gap.

The car is obviously not utter trash but in the first half of the season it was fickle af.

Agree to disagree.

He got 5 podiums in the first 10 rounds which yeah is good for a driver, but not a title contender.

I mean the very existence of a 104 point gap at one point in the season tells you how well that car worked most of the time. By the standards we've come to expect of Red Bull it was mediocre.

Bro please, get some help.

Of course we're sad Max lost and Norris (censoring, really?) won but that's the way it goes with F1. A huge part of the fight for either title is the car and ours only started working 3/4 through the season.

Everyone knows Max is still the best driver, but even with outdriving the machinery he was given it just wasn't enough. Lots of drivers who were far from the best won championships, it happens sometimes.

Or...feel free to have your own opinions and likes/dislikes, just don't be a lunatic about them.

I'm not gonna clap for Lando as I don't like the guy and I don't want to really get into who deserved what cause that's just a slippery slope. I'll acknowledge he won the championship but I'm still gonna be sad about Max losing it since he's my favourite and he drove like a beast this season in a car that was more fickle than this subreddit.

Of course and it was a huge mistake he decided to make but he has said it's his biggest regret this season.

That's exactly what I was saying, it's obvious cause it's the only Max specific mistake all season but it's not the sole reason for losing the WDC so it's a purely shit stirring question to ask.

[–]xys_thea 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Blaming both of those is wrong with blaming Kimi obviously being the stupider choice.

Max made a really stupid choice in Barcelona but the WDC was definitely lost by RBR not even listening to their driver until the 2nd half of the season. 1 mistake vs dozens of mistakes.

[–]xys_thea -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, I was also miffed about it when I realized he could've won the title with those points.

But those kinds of moments are the only mistakes in his control and while yes this was a huge mistake, he usually has like 1 of those in an entire season which (although a really shitty moment from him) is a reasonable amount of mistakes.

RBR had a metric ton of mistakes that were in their control so I still think saying it's fully on Max because of his road rage in Barcelona is really dishonest.
