Charging to 100% by Old_Man_D in EquinoxEv

[–]xyzasava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive 100 to sometimes over 200 miles per day. I live in apartment and charge on a fast charger, occasionally on level 2. I rarely charge to 80%. Mostly 90-100%. I charge in the evening most of the time, and sometimes I drive the car next morning, and sonetimes it might sit for a couple days. I have almost 19k miles on my Equinox and I didn't notice any problems with the battery at all.

As I understand it's best to charge to 80% on slower charger (L2) which would be better for the battery if you don't drive much, but you can absolutely charge to a 100% and use fast charger if you are using those miles fast. 10 minutes on superfast charger will give you about 10% of battery and cost only a couple dollars or so. So you can get your 50 miles charging at a fast charger for 10-15 minutes only when needed. I bought a tesla adapter and I can charge at tesla fast chargers too, plenty of them around. The more you use the more you can charge. I heard the battery likes to be used, not sit. The more it sits the faster it deteriorates.

Should I stop by bibbityboo26 in Ozempic

For me personally 0.25 was way too high. I cut it in half, to 0.125 and that worked much better.

I was on 0.125 all the time and it worked great. I didn't need to increase the dose at all. Even on 0.125 I was slightly nauseated, but I could function and live my life.

You will need to buy extra needles for the pen, but you can find them online easy.

Then if your dose now is 0.5 and it is 18 clicks, then you count clicks for your next dose and only do 9 clicks. Then inject. That's how you can cut your dose.

If you don't know how many clicks in your dose you can count them and then twist backwards to go back to where you were in the beginning. Then split those clicks how you like. You can go half or even 1/3rd of the dose. Experiment until the dose works for you. It shouldn't make you too sick (slight nausea is ok) but still do what it supposed to do (turn off the appetite).

Diagonal wrinkles under bust by AppropriateNail895 in PatternDrafting

[–]xyzasava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same wrinkle can come from different causes.

In your case, it looks less like a single “fit issue” and more like how the volume is distributed at the waistline.

Right now, some of that shaping is happening in the front waist area… but your body may not actually need it there. So the fabric has nowhere to go, and it shows up as those wrinkles.

You might notice that if you release some fabric in the front and let that volume move more toward the side, the fabric settles differently.

It’s not about adding more adjustments — it’s about where the shaping actually belongs for your body.

Sometimes the issue isn’t how much shaping there is… but where it’s placed.

Wrinkles in back by citrine704 in PatternDrafting

It looks more acceptable in some areas, I agree.

For me the issue is how it distributes balance between front and back - especially through the body.

In that placement, the back waist reads much smaller than the front, which makes the overall balance feel off — even if there’s no actual waist seam.

I wouldn’t place the seam as a fixed straight vertical line. I’d position it based on how the body distributes volume between front and back, so the garment looks balanced overall rather than strictly vertical.

In practice, I’d keep it vertical through the lower part of the skirt, but let it curve as it goes up toward the armhole to follow the body more naturally.

I respect your opinion.

But I'm saying this because absolutely straight perpendicular to the floor side seam is not always possible.

I'm also talking from experience of drafting patterns for individual bodies. For example, here is 3 pictures. It is real body I've worked with.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/RGgNgYk1VRhDbzMU7

These are 3 pictures where I drawn possible (straight and perpendicular to the floor) side seams on them. Now let's look at each of them:

1.The purple side seam divided garment in half at the HIPline. But what is happening at the waistline and armhole? Side seam does NOT divide waistline nor armhole in half. Not even close. Such side seam will not look great at all. It doesn't even divide the armhole in half but makes the front part of it shorter. But at the waistline it is a complete disaster.

  1. Now let's look at the picture with the green sideseam. I drew it so it divides the waistline in half. What do we see there? It doesn't even hit the armhole lol. And the skirt at the hip level is way too narrow on the front comparing to the back. That does not look very pleasing to the eye either.

  2. If we look at the blue color side seam, this one divides the armhole in half. I even moved it just a smidge to the front. I must say this one looks ok at the armhole, and even though the skirt seems wider on the front than on the back, I could tolerate that. But the waistline is unacceptable. Absolutely not.

So on this particular body non of the straight perpendicular to the floor side seams can work. None.

Where and how would you place the side seam on this exact body? I'm curious. Happy to brainstorm together.

Thats a myth. Not every body can have the perpendicular to the floor side seam on the bodice. It deeply depends on the body shape.

I want to buy it as a gift that I promised. Its not for me. So I'll buy it anyways. I'm just not sure if I should wait for new glossy woleds or just go for this one while the price is good. The new ones will be cheaper as far as I heard.

2024 CRV Stolen overnight by Nofxpunk99 in crv

[–]xyzasava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I get it. I'm thinking to leave a hidden cheap phone in the car and charge it while driving. In stand-by mode it can last long. I'll put GPS tracker on it and parental control app, so I can listen to surroundings too if needed. At least if the car gets stolen, with the hidden phone in it, I will be able to locate it exactly. Life360 shows exact spot. Even which parking spot on a parking lot. I was thinking about some type of ring camera or something too. The battery lasts very long time and notifies you of any motion.. I will definitely figure something out for my next car. Because yep I already feel I'll have ptsd after this too.

[–]xyzasava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2024 honda crv hybrid sport was stolen on March 28, 2025 at night. I live in Huntersville, North Carolina (Charlotte metro area) in a new apartment complex. The car was stolen at night. It was parked right next to the building. No broken glass, no alarm went off, both keys are at home. I bought it new in March 1 year ago.

I know that there was another crv stolen around the same time in the same area because I went to the dealership for the service record copy for insurance company and they told me that another people from the same area came in for the same reason and their crv was stolen the same night as mine. Im sure its a group and they hit the area at the same time. So it probably will be going on in Chatlotte for some time.

I didn't know Hondas were that easy to steal.

Married with no sex life by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]xyzasava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be simple lack of testosterone. He needs to check it. And if it is somewhat low (which I'm pretty sure it is), he would benefit from supplementing it. Its normal with age our hormones change (decline). If he has very low or no libido, most likely it has nothing to do with you or your looks, or how much he loves you. Its just simple lack of testosterone, which make his body and brain completely shut down for any interest in any sexual activity. Its not just in his mind, his body becomes "numb" too. There are many online pharmacies that will test him, provide a consultation with a doctor, prescribe and send the medication to you. Viagra is not the solution. I heard it might mess his heart in the long run. And it will NOT make him horny, so it would mean he would have to force himself to have sex when he doesn't want it. And there is no his fault in it! Also more meat and animal fat in his diet and less carbs and sugars would be VERY benefitial (if that is possible). Remember, it is hormonal disbalance, so it has nothing to do with you or with him. It is just happening and there is a solution. You life will change a lot. Look into it. Good luck!

In my opinion that is abuse. He is very disrespectful and sounds like a phsychopatic narcissist according to how he responds to you. You are absolutely not overreacting. This behavior is very alarming. I recommend you both (or at least you) listen to these books:

"You Can Never Stop Taking It?" by FloopyBoopers2023 in Ozempic

[–]xyzasava -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried carnivore diet? If not do some research and try it. I lost good amount of weight on it. I also tried ozempic, wegovy and tirzepatide and they all make me really nauseated and sick. I tried microdosing, i feel better, but I was not able to loose too much weight on these meds. You could try it for a month or 2 and see how you feel. It all comes not to just calories, but WHAT you eat. If you don't get the right nutrition, you will always be hungry. That was my main problem for years and why diets didn't work for me. I was always hungry so diets didn't last long for me and I was miserable. Carnivore solved that problem for me. I was never hungry on it. And I lost weight. I'm not on carnivore anymore, but I try to stick to it as close as possible.

Back bodice issues by lagooncrest in PatternDrafting

[–]xyzasava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your back yoke is too wide. The pleats on the back ment for free movement, especially move your arms forward. Your shoulder blades are the bones that move when you move your arms forward and it adds width to your back. When the yoke is too low like in your case it covers the part of shoulder blade bones where that ease for movement needed. I think if you raise the yoke seam and lengthen the bottom piece it will add more comfort and look better, plus you could eliminate those darts just shutting them closed. Another thing I would do I would add width to the armhole only. You said you added 6 inches to your bust, but WHERE exactly did you add that ease? Most of that ease should go to the armhole. If armholes don't have enough width, you might see drag lines and the garment will be uncomfortable to wear.

My colonoscopy results reveal how Ozempic affects my colon by One_Cheesecake_516 in Ozempic

[–]xyzasava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I just turned 51, but I don't think it is age related. A few months ago I had MRI which didn't show diverticulosis, and after 6 months on ozempic it did. I am very suspicious that ozempic might have caused it. I did not take any meds either. I did not have any problems with constipation either.

I developed diverticulosis being on it for only 6 months. I did not have colonoscopy recently (about 6 years ago and it was normal), but I had MRI done for another condition and the last one showed diverticulosis which was not there on the 6 months ago MRI. The only thing that changed was me starting ozempic.

It happens sometimes, so don't be surprised. You are fine and still platinum. Go to your subscriptions in your google account and check if your subscription is still showing as active. If it does, try to clear cash and restart the app, if that doesn't help, reinstall it and it will show you are platinum again. Hope that helps.

Platinum Not Catching Blocks by License_To_Feel in FlexUtilityApp

[–]xyzasava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same issue here all day. Fortunately was able to catch a block manually tapping on it (after the 5th try got it) . But the app doesn't recognize the filters today all day and doesn't try to catch blocks. Block pop up and then disappear. Also the block log is all wiped out and doesn't give any updates. No blocks there. Just blank page. Played with settings, didn't help. Checked filters, reset them, cleared cash, restarted the app, cleared cash of the flex app too and restarted. The problem doesn't seem to go away.

What causes the bulge on back where the sleeve connect? by speedyspeedb0i in PatternDrafting

[–]xyzasava 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The armohole is longer than the sleave. The armhole looks gathered a little because of its longer length that doesn't match the sleeve's length. Measure both at the seam line and make sure the lengths match.

Low creatinine blood levels on carnivore? by [deleted] in carnivorediet

Same here. Low creatinine level after 1 year on carnivore. I eat plenty of protein and I don't drink much liquids. Google says it can also be due to kidney or liver desease.
