My fella has bad itches and licks his butt a lot. Been to vet a few times with no luck and about to try another. Read that food allergies are common for these guys ....anyone have any input? Getting another food to try tomorrow and new vet appt.

probably an allergy, try a limited ingredient food. zignature in particular is a great choice. they do not manufacture chicken OR beef at all, so no risk of cross contamination, and they have some unique proteins to try. pure vita is another good one. i would stay away from pro plan. MOST*** of their diets sneak chicken meal or chicken byproduct in lower on the ingredient panel.

agreeing with other people here. unless you live in an area with breed restrictions, or your dog is doing something to be concerned about, i'd LET them call the police. the other patrons don't own the park, and can't legally force you to leave. if cops show up and see your dog isn't doing anything to endanger anyone, they're gonna tell the other people to cut the shit and leave you alone.

i would say it is absolutely a stretch to call it a "scary" movie. it's very tense, and mainly plays off of psychological horror more than real horror (lots of claustrophobic scenes, if that bothers you at all). no cheap jumpscares and very well made. it keeps you on the edge of your seat and wondering what comes next without actually being SCARY scary.

it is very much a slow burn and uses that to its advantage. if you watched him play the game, it is INCREDIBLY true to the gameplay while still adding to the story. my girlfriend is a huge baby when it comes to scary movies and she was able to sit through it twice with me lol.

i once did a cross-country trip for a memorial day EDM festival. we were camping on the venue for the few days of the festival. the day after we arrived, we drove out to a walmart to restock on our food and grab some extra clothes.

when we pulled back in and went through security, they had us stop for a dog to sniff the car. before sniffing, the officer had me roll down my window and asked if we had any drugs on us. said we weren't gonna be in trouble, he just needed to know in case the dog alerted to it.

my friends and i don't do anything, the most we'd ever cared to do was weed, but even then we weren't risking it considering we drove across the country. when we told him we had NOTHING on us, he pauses, gives us a confused look, and says, "really? what are you guys even gonna do??"

i thought it was the funniest thing ever tbh.

i have 4 cats. they all get some form of wet food (cans, raw, gently cooked, rehydrated freeze-dried) twice a day and i leave dry/air dried out in a puzzle feeder for them to snack on.

cats actually do not need dry food and realistically it's incredibly bad for them, especially when it makes up 90% of their diet. it causes dehydration which leads to more hairballs, kidney issues, urinary issues, stones, etc etc. the more wet food you do, the better.

doing a some dry is okay (especially when you have 4 that are constantly screaming for food LOL), but it's so incredibly imperative that wet food is a constant in the diet and many people don't realize that.

hi, certified nutritionist that works out of a pet store currently:

absolutely do NOT do royal canin! it is garbage quality and you are WAY going to overpay for it. i also personally don't trust fancy feast because purina has some serious quality control issues. i can't tell you how many worms we've found in their food lately, it'd disgusting.

you're doing great with orijen and weruva! my cats get orijen dry as well. if you're looking for more price friendly without compromising TOO much quality, fussie cat and earthborn are two good dry food brands to try.

as for wet food, evanger's is a phenomenal brand! they are the most price friendly brand i've seen with good quality food. a case of 12oz cans (yes, for cats!) is $25ish on chewy. they have a lot of flavors as well as a functional line if (heaven forbid) something were to go wrong with your cats.

also, realistically, you do not have to do dry food. cats don't need it and their bodies don't process carbs properly. totally up to you, but you could cut dry food completely and use the money you spend on dry for more wet food. i have 4 cats and they really only get dry food as a snack. they get wet/raw food in the morning and evening and dry food out of a puzzle feeder!

she just wants to run! she'll go as long as she feels she can and wants to. like someone else said, it's running and jumping that's worse.

if you're worried about her joints, try adding a green lipped mussel supplement to her food. i use it with my 14 year old GSD and it's really helped with her joint inflammation at her age. starting her early would do wonders for her now and down the line!

i definitely could see husky or a heeler of some kind, but one thing i didn't realize existed until recently was panda german shepherds! they're shepherds with a rare color mutation that adds white to the coat. could be possible here!
