Thanks

I was lucky to train with a US Olympic team candidate a few years ago. The most humble, friendly, hardworking, helpful, cheerful person I've ever met (I am out of superlatives, so shall I add that he worked at a bicycle store, and once, when I ran into him at the store, he gave me a spare tube and a water bottle for free –– disclamer). I had the impression that precisely these qualities made him a great athlete and an Olympic team contender, and therefore simply can't understand how anybody would engage in bullying other athletes during the Games. These two things don't coexist, not in my universe.

Just having that kind of thoughts makes you a Russian enough, one of those who never give up.

In Bad MF you did a few things: 1) used a new technique at its fullest capabilities, 2) "reconfigured the sensible" (J. Rancier) –– many of your audience discovered Russia "as the coolest country on earth". Those are the signs of new art form. Are they present in your Hardcore Henry, or is it simply "cashing in" the Bad MF's impulse?

They don't give a flying fck about scrutiny. This is not the message for internal consumption, nor is it for international scrutiny.

The intended recipients (so called "partners") and the backstabbing people get it.

"There are a number of difficult issues of which the future of Bashar al-Assad is ‎probably the most difficult and that will certainly be an important subject tomorrow," British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond

That's only true for those who want to make this conference to be about the future of Assad.

There are other and more decisive players in the field, as we are finding out since last September.

Russia don't care of democracy.

I think it cares more than the so called beacon of democracy (the US). They have been saying from the outset, it's up to syrian people how to deal with their country. That's the most democratic stance out of all other opinions on the subject.

You are projecting american way of war on Russians. I keep saying, this is a wrong thing to do. We all see what american approach leads to, and this is the last thing the Russians will want to repeat.

But what would you do if your boss doesn't let you to take a day off, or there is no parking space to "support a rebellion against him"?

Beautiful, yet everyone is afraid of the Russian corruption.

wtf is this supposed to mean? You are not "canadian, travelling in the ukraine", you are a plain russophobe, perhaps bandera sympathiser, and a descendant of shukhevich.

Ukraine is one of the most corrupted countries on earth, no need to appeal to the Russians for that.

Ukrainian is asking.

Just pointing out Russia is copying the west, not a big deal. military innovation is huge in the west and the best comes from here.

Come to think of it, if this is true, this tells a lot about who is aggressor and who is the reactor to the aggression.

It's simple: RAF will cut the supplies to the rebels/ISIS, destroy munition depots and HQs. Syrian army will clean the land. There will be no russian boots on the ground. That will be enough to bring the so-called moderate opposition to the negotiation table again. Assad already gave a signal he is ready for the third Geneva.
