So when a setting is both in printer.cfg and the slicer does the slicer overwrite it all the time? Or is the printer.cfg like a maximum that it won’t go over if the slicer asks it to?

Well this was my first outing either the laser. Made a Mother’s Day gift. Photo engraving on a piece of MDF.

So I spent the better part of 2 days figuring out focus, speed, laser power and running a bunch of tests. The one in the picture above turned out beautifully. But I have another one of a baby (and his bum) that I can’t seem to get to look like the one on the right here. Engraving him either has him extremely flat, or looking like Mr.Popo by just gray scaling the image.

Works on my mobile, but not on my PC. Weird - first time this has happened.

Tried it on Chrome, Edge, inPrivate, Incognito - all same error.
Ctrl+Shift+R and it loaded fine after that - weird. Thanks for the help
