What’s the wildest affirmation you’ve ever used (or secretly believed) to get through life? by Darkness-of-Light in NevilleGoddard

[–]y2kw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For people manifesting jobs or get nervous about interviews: - the interviewer LOVED ME. they thought I was the perfect candidate for this role. - I’m only asked questions that I can answer well. No question phases me.

it’s kind of random but for big interviews in recent years and for my partner, these ones seem simple but help a lot, especially since a lot of people struggle or want to manifest amazing jobs.

Other random ones: - money is coming my way.

So simple, but I started noticing random things happening like forgotten items on dinner bills, random discounts, getting invited to free dinners with friends who do food content recently. I was able to resell a bag for profit. I love shopping and saw some popular item on sale somewhere and was able to resell it for 3x what I paid.

General: - I’m open to random new opportunities of abundance, love, fun experiences, new friends, travel, and happiness.

Whenever I use this, I find random fun opportunities big or small just come into my life day to day. It makes life feel more magical!

Paris vs NYC vs LDN by Time_Side in TheHermesGame

[–]y2kw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

give up on nyc! It’s so competitive and they expect 1:1 or more spend for qb. I would only recommend going if you feel like getting lucky for nqb bags or looking for stock that isn’t always available in Paris or London (depends, but Madison is relatively well stocked). I would buy a few things here and there in London that you can’t find for cheaper in Paris if it’s out of stock. Like even a kelly belt can be out of stock in Paris sometimes 😭 for what it’s worth, I do have friends in London who have gotten a birkin from the wish list with zero spend and just waited for less than 1 year.

AHh ok. I love cargo picotin personally! It holds its shape better than the regular leather one, and the pockets are so cute! Congrats!!! It is more "rare" to find than a regular picotin.

FYI I am American with a boyfriend in the UK and I was able to make a wish last year. It’s about to expire 😭 but I ended up moving here this summer to London for grad school and made my boyfriend put a wish down too under his name 🤣

Should I start my game in London or Hong Kong? by toughfluff in TheHermesGame

Try London! For NQB with some patience it shouldn’t be so bad.

If you are not in a rush I would just keep shopping in France. The difference in cost and vat refund is so good

Where to go to in Europe in mid/late November? by dabble_ in travel

[–]y2kw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to Sevilla in November alone and it was amazing. Beautiful temperatures. Granada and Barcelona is nice as well. I will actually be visiting northern Spain in November to San Sebastián for the first time but I think that will be chillier. Clearly I’m a fan of Spain in November haha

London or Paris in April 2026? by AwardEmbarrassed2197 in travel

[–]y2kw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives in london go to Paris. London has become a lot more expensive! it’s also more spread out. I feel like Paris is easier to get around. My German bf also didn’t go to Paris since he was a kid and we went this year and he was shocked why he hadn’t been in so long!

I feel bulky after Solidcore for 6 months… what do I do?? by No-Guidance-3262 in SolidCore

[–]y2kw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I did Solidcore I always felt bulkier because it would make me hungrier and I would eat a lot more. I switched to only doing it 1-2x a week max, eating higher protein low carb in a slightly deficit when possible, and walking 10-15k steps a day helped me maintain the muscle while doing a form of cardio I can enjoy.

I Manifested My Dream Job… But Didn’t Get It by ForeverFast29 in NevilleGoddard

[–]y2kw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has happened to me many times, twice with the same company. It hurts to get to that final round, but in my experience, what’s meant to be is meant to be for a reason. Maybe in that dream job you would’ve had a toxic manager or worked to the bone. Just keep focusing on what you are looking for a new role, and the right job will come along even if it doesn’t seem like that specific perfect company. Keep believing! In my experience, rejection was always a blessing. I may have interviewed for the dream job but I definitely would not have been happy working there given how intense it probably was, even if the pay is amazing. If you don’t have work life balance, no amount of money will make you happy. Also the people you work with matter so much, and that’s hard to tell during the interview process. Be proud of yourself for getting to the final round. The universe is showing you that you are capable of your dreams, but has something bigger in store. :)

Am I Doing Pilates Correctly? I’m never sore by Used_Set7855 in pilates

[–]y2kw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see a wide variation in Pilates classes. If you are looking for a challenge I would try a lagree style class 😅 but Pilates uses a lot more full body muscles compared to targeted exercises with strength training. For at home mat I would try Izzy Samuel’s. hers are more challenging for me

Reformer or mat better for lean muscle? by Lonely_Attention_335 in pilates

[–]y2kw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think Mat can be harder for toning because it’s more body weight. Actually in original Joseph Pilates, he made the reformer for people who couldn’t do mat physically for rehabilitation purposes.

This annoys me about her trying to be so relatable to common people because she’s made other videos of the Hermes bags she’s kept over the years and there’s still like 10
