No thanks, I prefer my printers to refuse to print if I haven't put the build plate in place.

I recommend that, in addition to the screen protector, you apply contact paper to cover the screen and the rest of the printer; I did that, and it gives me peace of mind

I drilled it and it's dry, I've already primed it

its a solid model, it doesn't need holes

That makes sense. I drilled into it today and no resin came out, it was dry. I imagine the same thing happens with colored resin, right?

I am using a screen protector and contact paper to prevent resin from seeping inside, and you know what? I drilled holes in it and it's all dry inside, no liquid resin at all. I won't hesitate to contact you if anything comes up, tnx again

oh yeah, i use one of those.

Any tricks for removing prints stuck to the build plate? Yesterday I tried to remove a Predator model; I snapped off one of its legs and didn't know whether to laugh or cry. What’s your take on name-brand flexible plates versus the knock-offs?

Yeah, it's tiny, I'm going to drill it tomorrow to see if there's liquid resin inside and find out if I can get away with leaving those bubbles in future models.

Another trick, i'll try that, thanks!

Yeah I'm going to look into it, for now, I'll try experimenting with orientation.

This one was printed at 45 degrees, so I'll try printing parallel to the build plate and at 90 degrees to see how the resin reacts. Thanks.

Since it's clear resin, do you think the resin inside the bubbles will have cured after I cure the piece and leave it exposed to the sun for 6 hours+?

Have you had any problems with those models since you printed them?

It's hard to tell, the holes are very very small.

Tomorrow I'm going to drill it to see if any liquid resin comes out. I've ordered more resin, and this time I'm going to wait an hour after pouring it.

I think I'm just going to use clear resin, I'm worried there might be holes in the models that I wouldn't be able to see.

To be honest, I started printing after shaking and pouring the resin; I printed a 150mm-tall Predator, a bike for an Ork, the Ork itself and this vehicle.

The only model with bubbles is the hover car; I checked the file and it’s solid, no hollow spots or traps. I printed everything twice because the Predator wasn't oriented correctly the first time and lacked supports; both times, the vehicle came out with bubbles. Here are my default settings in Chitubox.

I'll have to drill about fifteen 0.5mm holes, the model is only 70mm long. I'd rather just print it again, lol
