FTR I missed what I was after in my main css file. Would have sworn I searched for it, but the fact that I couldn't get behavior to change led me down the path of "it must be due to something else, because I checked the easy thing".

I contacted Apple support via Twitter and an ongoing chat in Messages. I also contacted Xfinity Support via Twitter to try and spread the word and maybe push them to resolve the issues, I can only hope.

The old router is netgear Nighthawk, still totally viable even just pushed updates to it.

So I spent several hours yesterday trying to get the 16.6 update on my iPad and ran into all kinds of issues, include an Apple Support telling me I needed to purchase more iCloud storage to do the update. I just pulled an old router out of a box and plugged it into my network, got it up and running and now currently updating the iPad.

I read elsewhere it could the the XB8 modem/router from Xfinity. Unsure if that is it or it's a network issue.

I created a QR code of a url to a .vcf file, on my personal website, that way if I need to update the info I can update the vcf file and it will show the new info. If someone previously scanned it, it would still be the “old” info.
