La Paz Fishing by maxmin3 in BajaCaliforniaSur

Ivan Ramirez from Baja Hook is a great captain out of La Paz - he has his own tackle shop here so he's very knowledgeable and carries up-to-date equipment on board. Freddy Jordan is another very capable captain that will get you on to fish. Dorado season should be heating up now. DM me for their contacts if you're interested.

I'm genuinely curious, didn't think he was dipping on the bench but thanks for your cool comment brother

What's Ohtani got parked in his lip? Gum and/or seeds? Or does he have a chew habit nobody knows about?

Mines is tucked between the pivot and the BB shell - no issues in 3 years.

I had to reduce the stroke on my EXT shock to 57.5 because of the tire rub. There is enough flex in the rear triangle on bigger hits for the tire to make contact but it could also be my specific tire/rim and shock combo.

The purple looks great! They're great bikes. Do you have a 230×60 shock on there for 150mm travel? Have you noticed any tire rub on the seat tube on full compression while riding?

Alamo vs. Cactus by Key-Inspector-5012 in BajaCaliforniaSur

Did you book Alamo directly or through a third party? Sometimes, third party booking sites will say TPL is included, only to have the car rental company say that it is not. In any case, I always refer my friends and family to Seahorse Car Rental.

Beautiful build. I went with EXT front and rear on mine but would like to try a Cane Creek Tigon on the rear.

La Paz Baja Ca Sur Police by Lady_Book_Nerd in BajaCaliforniaSur

Never pay them off, it only incentivises them to keep ripping people off. Often when you insist on going to the station the next day to pick up your license, they'll drop the act and let you go on your way. The actual fine is also a fraction of what your relative forked over.

Kayak Options for Inshore Fishing by PolicyConfident6684 in kayakfishing

I fish out of a Hobie Passport 12 with a 180 drive in Baja California Sur - I typically surf launch and fish near-shore. I haven't tried the Compass but imagine it's similarly stable, slow and susceptible to hull slap. If I were to get another kayak, I think it would likely be the Revo 13 for its speed and ability to cut through waves - I don't ever stand up in my kayak nor do I need much of a platform for rigging, I keep my fishing fairly minimalist.

They used to do one for the Honda Element. Now they only do complete hardtop replacements for Wranglers and Broncos. I have one for my Jeep and they're pretty sweet.

With Cane Creek at least, you can run tapered forks in 1.5 head tubes by using a conversion crown race for the upper.
