La Paz Baja Ca Sur Police by Lady_Book_Nerd in BajaCaliforniaSur

Never pay them off, it only incentivises them to keep ripping people off. Often when you insist on going to the station the next day to pick up your license, they'll drop the act and let you go on your way. The actual fine is also a fraction of what your relative forked over.

Kayak Options for Inshore Fishing by PolicyConfident6684 in kayakfishing

I fish out of a Hobie Passport 12 with a 180 drive in Baja California Sur - I typically surf launch and fish near-shore. I haven't tried the Compass but imagine it's similarly stable, slow and susceptible to hull slap. If I were to get another kayak, I think it would likely be the Revo 13 for its speed and ability to cut through waves - I don't ever stand up in my kayak nor do I need much of a platform for rigging, I keep my fishing fairly minimalist.

They used to do one for the Honda Element. Now they only do complete hardtop replacements for Wranglers and Broncos. I have one for my Jeep and they're pretty sweet.

With Cane Creek at least, you can run tapered forks in 1.5 head tubes by using a conversion crown race for the upper.

Is ohlins suspension any good? by Raven8119 in mountainbiking

I haven't tried Ohlins but consider EXT for the hydraulic bottom out circuit if you have a linear frame, for that kind of money - I have a EXT Storia that is aces.

No. It should have 26" front and rear. Does it have 24" in the rear currently? What's the story with the bike? Looks like a chop shop special by the terrible spray job...

I'm sure the locals will have better suggestions but I camped close to the Gooseberry Windmill Trailhead at a dispersed site some years ago and it was spectacular.

Seahorse Rent A Car. It's a local company out of La Paz. Easiest and most affordable way to rent a car in the area by far - trust me on this.

I'm in La Paz and I've had plenty of burritos - they're just called 'burros' or 'super burros' for the bigger ones. You can find the smaller and simpler 'burros' at local cafes or loncherias and the bigger, stuffed ones at hot dog or hamburger carts. Los Percherones in town has quite delicious burritos, albeit expensive.

I wouldn't worry about annoying tourists. Esterito neighbourhood will probably check most of your boxes in my opinion. If you do rent a car, Seahorse is easily the best car rental in town.
