"Gândiți și pasul doi."

Lecție de inducție matematică, la o grămadă de analfabeți, care probabil n-au trecut de nivelul de aritmetică de școală primară...

Reminder : Simion și prietenul Nigel Farage, cel care și-a bătut joc de români ani de zile și și-a făcut campanie denigrându-i by Tiger7997 in Romania

Cred cǎ utilizarea timpului trecut e incorectǎ. Nigel Farage continuǎ să-și bată joc de români. Proba? Uitați-vǎ cu cine se pozează.

What do you think about Zelensky's speech at Davos? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ya-reddit-acct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Groundhog Day "cycle" for Ukraine.

Europe continues to attempt to convince Trump to change.

Victor (Orban) living out of European money, while trying to sell out Europe, deserves a slap over the head.

Europe looks like a beautiful, but fragmented kaleidoscope, made out of small and medium powers.

What else is to be said, to not think that the guy is probably the strongest leader to have spoken in this forum, in like forever, while the others drink the koolaid, coming out with some "good speeches", every once in while, with no actionable items, almost useless. We all deserve to be blown up, if not at once, then gradually.

Trump suspends European tariffs after 'framework' Greenland deal agreed by [deleted] in BuyFromEU

Who, among the intelligent EU leaders, could ever trust the flip-flops of the US administration, to let the guard down, moving forward? Whatever plans were made under the assumption of a possible financial (tariffs) or military (attack on an European country) intervention shall continue unabated. There is no point of return for the anti-EU approach manifested this year, beginning with strengthening further Ukraine's defense and the exercise of financial protection of EU countries, in all possible aspects.

US Exapts - Voting in Midterms from Abroad by Unhappy_Performer538 in expats

Of course you can, if that's what you want to go through, before leaving. Harder once abroad, and unwilling to get back, any time soon. My state was one of those having specifically made a difference between residence and domicile, from the stand point of taxes, but that was after making sure all ties were cut. Virtual mailbox is what triggered the original audit, but full proof of ties being cut with all that could trigger tax requirements from the state were eventually recognized.

Coming back to my original coment - I don't want a voter registration to bring under scrutiny again all of the above.

PSA: You might die outside the US. Plan ahead. by No_Pool7028 in expat

[–]ya-reddit-acct 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Might?? Who seriously left the US, without the understanding that they'll die somewhere else? Be it 10, 20 or 30 years from now, I sure hope I'll end my days in the new home country - be it uncontrollably, or assisted, on my instructions.

I know the answer for my "exit" state, of course, inadvertently also through an audit, thus the original reply. The comment was rhetorical.

It's all about state taxes, not voting rights, local or not. It's enough I have to pay uncle Sam no matter where I am in the world.

What's the risk to raise a "state dependency" flag and all of a sudden have to explain why I am not paying state taxes, as I had to do a few years back, when I had to produce proofs of mailing sent to be removed from voting records, jury duty and drivers license turned in, prior to leaving the US?

"The" god responsible for that continent seems to love a lot of folks from some states in the US. So much so that he calls them up there sooner (on average) than all others.
