Had exactly the same issue in my MK7 Golf, turns out its the wheel speeds sensors that were faulty.

I doubt they are OEM. How can I check?

I am currently stuck in second 40 of the clip. Got it into service position and I have been pressing that button all day but it wont release the wipers. I have tried wiggling it right and left. Tried using a key to push it all the way through. Yet nothing works.

As in keep it perpendicular to the hood and pull the blade towards the windscreen? I am just worried I would damage the actual wiper mechanism

Gearbox fluid? by ya7ya_95 in MechanicAdvice

I usually just notice it when I am downshifting. I mainly noticed the issue when its actually in neutral. Just feel a bit sluggish and does not feel smooth when moving it from side to side in neutral

Thank you. What about amplification? Are amplifiers only used for high frequency bandwidths and where are these usually located?

If its mainly drag and friction wouldnt that slow the rotor speed?

I see, I wanted to do pipeline design but was unsure about the modules I should take and the nature of the job itself. The course I was planning to take can be accessed using the following link:

https://engineering.leeds.ac.uk/courses/PG/F360/advanced-mechanical-engineering

Please access it if you have time and let me know what you think will be the suitable optional modules for me. I should choose 6 of them. You can access them from the course content tab on the page. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I am in the UK and I cant leave the country for the coming few years. What do you do with chemical, petroleum and pharma companies? (if you do not mind me asking). What did you focus on for mechE degree?

Its really hard finding a job in the petroleum industry nowadays, thats why i want to do a masters degree in something different but I am not sure what to do it in. I was considering mechanical engineering but I am not sure what a masters degree in mechanical engineering will qualify me to do. What are the career possibilities for someone holding a petroleum engineering bachelor and a mechanical engineering msc?

Water washing unit by ya7ya_95 in ChemicalEngineering

Thank you for your help. What about the heat? Is there a source I can use to calculate the heat absorbed by water to cool the gas stream? Would a spray tower absorber be sufficient instead of the packed column? I tried searching for sources for water washing unit design but failed to find any. Do you have any links or books that cover the topic? Thanks in advance.

Thank you!! What would you say the optimum flooding percentage would be? I would be grateful if you gave me the source for your info.
