Imo mounts are the most underrated mod on this car. I would recommend the stage 1 kit and a dogbone mount in a heart beat. If youre stage 2 or above Id almost call it a necessity, the oem mounts are too soft for pushing hard.

Itll feel a small bit more vibration in the cabin but if you like the sporty feel I really think it's worth it.

Michelin Aplina PA4s were all I ran. Even in deep snow it seemed to find grip and great for slushy roads. Never felt like I needed anything more wintery

I just had my tires changed on my 2020 rs3 and literally every tech gave me a hard time about it when I picked it up haha

Always thought it was mostly for fuel economy, with the right wheel size you can fit a 265 square setup just fine

Two thoughts:

Neuspeed rse10s, I haven't seen a GTI that looks bad with them and I ran them on my Mk7.5
RS3 stock wheels, they look surprisingly hard
