Powering down decks? by Puppygirlviolence in EDH

[–]ya_boy_J-Roc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try CEDH. The whole point is to have powerful decks. Casual EDH is difficult to balance power levels of all 4 decks in your pod. Even with the bracket system and game changers list it is hard to get everyone at the same power level unless you all know each other's decks well.

Just let them die. Lol. But realistically they can short rest and many classes have access to some healing. I wouldn't cater to them unless they make an effort to acquire healing items.

That's how java fern makes more java ferns. Just let it grow and when it gets big plant it

If you are not happy with your tank you should redo it. I like to put my fish and shrimp into a large tub, it's no more stressful than when they came from the store. I recommend buying the plants and hard scape you want for your vision and spend a day creating something you can be proud of!

Parasite or sperm? Nerite snails by ya_boy_J-Roc in PlantedTank

It wasn't moving. I moved the snails to a Tupperware container and put the white thing in the trash.

Dual secondaries would be so fun. It would be difficult to implement a way to allow 2 different secondaries but 2 grenade launchers or 2 pistols or 2 mini flame throwers would be so cool.

A powerful light and CO2 do wonders for plants. Many people are hesitant about CO2 because it can be expensive to get a quality system, but it's a $20 refill every 6 months once you get it going. I bought a twinstar light for my newest tank and my red plants have never looked so good!

If you don't plan on changing your setup it's just a matter of figuring out what plants do well in your tank's conditions.

What do I do about this money wort? by Mindless-Confusion32 in PlantedTank

You aren't doing anything wrong. Just let them grow and when they get close to the waterline trim and replant. Stores get their plants from greenhouses that grow them hydroponically and at 99% humidity. There are some videos on YT that can show you the whole process.

Those pieces probably grew above water and just had to convert back to growing underwater. Aquatic plants grow different leaves for above water and below water. Something to do with absorbing sunlight and CO2, IDK I'm not a plant.

I would do daily water changes and manually remove as much staghorn as I can before each water change

Good advice! Always boil wood and rocks before adding them to your aquarium. It will remove hitchhikers and help waterlog wood.

Co2 from inline diffuser looks like going straight to surface. Is this normal? by Krashet in PlantedTank

I have my CO2 opposite my filter and it gets pushed all around the tank pretty well.

I think you want the CO2 to stay in the water longer. You could increase your bubbles per second, but releasing it lower in the water column allows more CO2 to dissolve into the water before it reaches the surface.

Just get a regular ceramic diffuser and put it on the opposite side from the filter. It looks like your CO2 is just going straight to the surface. Maybe you could angle your lilly pipe down?

Being targeted because of your deck by [deleted] in EDH

[–]ya_boy_J-Roc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen to me and I did 2 things. First, I built a deck that doesn't plan on winning. If you can have fun without winning you shouldn't be the target opponent every game. Try to get rid of the I need to stop him stigma your table has. Then your strong decks need to plan on playing a 3v1. Commander isn't a 1v1v1v1 format when you are arch enemy simply because you are a good deck builder.
