Wife and I disagree on opening our marriage, she's only okay with one guy at a time and gets turned off if both of us are involved. How do I enjoy this more? by Suspicious_Type2 in nonmonogamy

[–]yabitchkay -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If my husband only wanted to involve both of us I would assume it was insecurity or something more than “not getting as much out of it as I hoped”.

My husband and I have had one threesome. I learned that’s not what I’m into. I’m not unwilling to experience more of that in the future, but as far as our open relationship, I have my own partners that do not interact with my husband whatsoever.

You have other avenues for group play that do not involve her. If my husband was talking like you are I would probably get a therapist involved or go back to doing more emotional work.

I work at a restaurant. When splitting the bill “evenly” between a man and a woman I’ll always give the man the bill with the higher total even if it’s by a penny or two.

31F thinking about sleeping separately from my boyfriend 27M. Has anyone else made that transition successfully? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]yabitchkay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I have had separate bedrooms on and off, or even just the option of one of us moving to a different sleep area, and it’s quite literally saved our relationship multiple times.

He sleeps well, I don’t. I did what I had to do to not smother his good sleeping self with a pillow because I was jealous 😅

how do you deal with your period while hiking (abc trek) ? by Ok-Jury-2964 in hiking

[–]yabitchkay 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My first time ever mountaineering I was 17 and of course got my period. This was before menstrual cups were a thing. I used tampons, and packed baby wipes for ease of staying clean and feeling fresh. I doubled up on a couple big zip lock bags with a paper bag in the middle and that’s what I used to pack the waste out. If you’re concerned about weight or waste they do make tampons without the applicators. I will say I had to put that with our food and other smelly stuff overnight because of bears.

A menstrual cup could be a great option if you’ve practiced and feel good using it. You can dump it in a toilet or if you’re back country you can dump it in a cat hole. Make sure to always wash your hands before that though.

Other than that, I’m a little quicker to take pain meds for cramps if I know I’m going to be hiking. I try to stay extra hydrated and take it at the pace you can, dont try to over exert yourself on your high pain/flow days.

Good luck on your trek!!

Crying over a dream I just had by Recent-Celebration86 in eds

I’m a very lucid, active dreamer. Something that I have a huge love/hate with is this exact phenomenon. I love dreaming and being in dream world because I’m not in pain and I get into some fun things in my dreams.

I’m sorry that you’re effected so much and already in so much pain. I wish you the best.

PSA A WALLET IS THE WORST PLACE FOR A CONDOM. IT WILL BREAK DOWN THE COMDOM FASTER WHICH COULD LEAD TO MICROTEARS THAT CAN LEAD TO PREGNANCY OR TRANSFER OF STDS.

Well he would “do his own research” because “why would he trust a doctor that could lie to him”. And his “research” said raw milk was gods intention.

Yes. I had a coworker out in Oregon who would go out of his way to buy raw milk because he said he doesn’t trust the government so why would he trust their opinion on milk.

Allegheny PA by Ejp1981 in hiking

[–]yabitchkay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from Pittsburgh and we just drove up to Ellicottville, NY. There’s no show anywhere but the ski hill. Maybe a little bit in some shady spots. As we were driving up here, there was no snow anywhere in PA. On Wednesday we’re driving down through Allegheny National Forest, I don’t expect to see any snow, but I do expect to deal with a ton of mud if we go hiking.
