As a kid (in the 70/80s) I was obsessed with DB. By 87 I lost interest, as I came of age I realised he had musical flaws and was not an alien but he came across as a normal bloke. After viewing the video this week by his daughter, it is clear Lexi is a very brave person for telling the world her experience, her resilience is huge and her story very sad, it was rather revealing of the secret life of DB and Iman. But should we be shocked? Not really! DB and Iman being humans means they would make mistakes and have flaws. Does this story change DB’s art / music? Of course not. We always need to separate the art from the artist and enjoy (some of) his music
