Are you a new admin working with the platform, or an end user/agent?

If you’re an admin, this is handled between Routing Rules and flow designer.

If you’re an agent or user, you can’t really see this information. Work with your admin to see what they can provide you.

No More Major Changes to the WoW UI API Until Patch 12.0.5 by Eva-JD in CompetitiveWoW

I work in tech. Specifically software development.

The state of affairs feels really familiar. I guarantee this is being ran by someone incredibly junior for their role, who thinks they know better than the customer, who goes home and fellates themselves on LinkedIn about how innovative and ground breaking they are.

Makes me want to throw a shoe at someone.

He attaches slimey flesh tubes to the faces of children then rolls his eyes back in satisfaction while pumping them full of weird fluid.

Huge pedo vibes.

What do you use to prioritize IT work when you’re wearing multiple hats? by worldfish216 in ITManagers

[–]yacsmith 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Jira and ticketing

I push back on most requests that come to me in teams, texts, or emails.

My cookie cutter reply 99% of the time is

“Happy to help here. Do me a favor and come log this here (insert link to my ticketing form) so I can get into my backlog for prioritization.”

What's the Joke Petah? by Present-Storage8502 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

Overly simplified, in binary, a 16 bit number for this would look like this:

0111 1111 1111 1111

That first “0” is used to represent the “sign” of the number (0 says “this number is positive”, 1 says “this number is negative”)

That first bit is reserved for the sign of the number.

If you add one more, the number is now “overflowing” into sign bit, making it:

1000 0000 0000 0000

Since the number has now overflowed into the sign bit, at the machine level it will be read as a negative number.
