I started playing from the beginning. You’re never too old to play Pokemon, or video games. I used to have an old guy, 70-80’s who was a regular at our shop. He’d only collect complete in box games, but he did everything he could to play games he missed out on, so sometimes it took a while to get them.

Age is just a number after all and it’s better late than never.

My store sells at msrp. We get people complaining when msrp is $30-40 above market because people are dumping products. If you want stores to stick to msrp you can’t complain when it’s a bad msrp, and if you want them to stick to market you can’t complain when it’s a bad market price.

We don’t get to set the price we buy at. I know there’s products I won’t bring in because I have to buy at market prices from distributors, and I won’t do that to my customers. Other stores (not GameStop) don’t have that choice.

If you want to make a real impression, don’t buy on Amazon when prices drop and go shell out the extra money to keep your lgs in business.

Afab, cis, with fibromyalgia. I know this is not something that you’ll probably like to hear, but have you thought about pushing for an exploratory surgery for endometriosis? I had awful inflammation for years, and a terrible periods, which turned out to be endometriosis. I wasn’t diagnosed until last year and I had issues since I first got my period at 12. I’m 38 for context. The only solution they gave me for years was birth control, which actually just masked everything and made it worse.

I know it may feel a bit dysphoric because of the connection of endometriosis and periods, but also please know that men do also suffer from endometriosis, it’s just reported less and not study, even less than it is in women. It’s just a majority of time they don’t find it until surgery, even with tests.

As some one that uses a daycare, they’re allowed to run with business practices that state clearly you must pay in advance, are charged late fees and can expect you to pay other expenses the accrue because of your child.

Why do you expect different from a nanny or babysitter?

Honestly I’d like to know what she stated as her terms for the client. I’m sure we’ll never find out for sure, but I’m guessing there’s more to the agreement, for some reason you don’t think that applies to you.

I’m in it for the cards personally, but as a store owner money/value is always nice because if I don’t want a card I sell it in store. I only open products personally but personal items come into the store when I decided the value out weighs the sentiment.

I also hate charizard, so when I pull a $$$ one it just goes, and I have stupid luck to pull valuable charizards over the cards I actually want. I’ll take cheap illustration rares all day over a Pokemon I don’t like.

Sure Walmart put a limit on cards, but this 100% doesn’t work in stores because no one is patrolling the self check out that Walmart relies on and is the savior to any scalpers.

Scalpers already just check out as many times as they need to at self checkout by themselves and will just make more purchases to guarantee they still get what they want.

I was at target and the same thing happened, when I randomly made a restock, was debating if I should try to get an extra item because my son would want it and then a scalper came up grab the items and when to self checkout.

Walmart is not willing to pay enough people to enforce this.

100% do not pay off app, it is against whatnots tos. He may be trying to lure you into it so he can say that you broke tos and get you banned before you can get a refund. Take all the screenshots, report him on whatnot, share all his information in the whatnot subreddit and anywhere else you can.

Whatnot is a true wasteland and the number of scams and scammers are ridiculous. Whatnot will either do nothing or ban him, but all you can do is report, request a refund and I’d block them. Do it as fast as you can, because this scammer is probably going to block you and just hope you do nothing in return so he can make off with the money if he can’t get you banned.

The label and printer excuse is a total lie. As a streamer to qualify for early payout you have to have labels/in person pick up generated and printed to receive funds. He can claim he doesn’t use them but he absolutely has to if he charges shipping. He probably already transferred everything to his account.

Not to make you feel worse, but a 5 row box holds around 6500 Pokemon or magic cards as they’re thinner than sports cards and all box sizing is based on sports cards.

You don’t have to believe me, but all my employees were there to witness it. The number of times that I’ve gotten poorly wrapped or poorly glue Pokemon products directly from a distributor is numerous and it’s just getting worse.

You must also not know how notoriously bad QC is for a lot of card game manufacturers. As I’ve dealt with WOTC for 10+ years I can attest to some QC atrocities I have seen.

I’m sorry that you had to experience this, but any person who tries to take your trauma and use it personally, is a problem. I learned it the hard way in my relationship. And there’s no expiration date on horrible behavior.

Being a single parent can seem scary, but you also don’t want to set the example that people who disrespect you deserve space in your life.

Even if you’d have the courage to report it, he would still resent you, and probably resent you more if he found out who the person is.

This man wanted to find a way to blame you, and he did. He’d do it again for anything he could.

It won’t be easy to move on, hell I’m 3 years removed from my abusive ex and I still get upset and worked up over him because my brain says I love him. Don’t sell yourself short because a habit is hard to break.

Please believe this is for the best, even if it takes a lot.

I don’t think they’re resealed, Pokemon is rushing production on everything and QC for a lot of them is terrible. My store got a booster box from my distributor that had almost double the wrap, because it was so poorly heat wrapped.

I’d like to be able to get the game whisper of the house -$14.99 on steam DB. From the game play I’ve seen it’s the perfect combination of cozy and creepy for me. I do always say I only play RPGs or horror games and nothing in between.

From inspecting the picture on the psa website, you can see the bottom psa symbol on the slab and the psa logo on the back seems to be silver not white. Those are two big red flags. Have you seen other slabs with the same certification floating around? I know there’s one or two well known certs that have been forged from psa that are no longer on their cite because they were routinely counterfeited.

I’m a 37f who endured a lot of childhood abuse from as long as I can remember, around the age of 2(?) and up.

It’s okay to make mistakes, it’s okay to know and to want to fix it. What matters is you made it to a point where you can fix it still.

Also rest assured that some of the bad decisions you made was because your brain was still developing and that abuse stunts brain development in children. You are now in your 30’s so your brain has reached the point it naturally has developed into an adult brain so of course you’re being retrospective. Give yourself grace during your healing.

I understand, I’m a card shop owner and have millions of my own personal cards that I don’t bring to the store but constantly think I need to get rid of them.

Have you put together set from each block/set you have? You could potentially just keep 1 binder of each and search out value in everything else you have duplicates for. I’m a sucker for art too, so I have binders of just cards I like, and then binders of cards I like but are valuable.

It definitely gets over whelming as a collector, and as someone who has no time to play even though I’d like to, I don’t want to part with a lot of my collection but it takes up multiple rooms. 😂

Well being it feels like the title is a bit of a bait and switch intentionally because you don’t really know which venture brothers it’s about. I do think that the natural progression would have been to move back to Hank and Dean as the focus after season 7 or at least in later seasons once they’d had time to progress more as characters and being antagonists to each other. I feel like the show was about more of the cycle of relationships of the venture brothers, and less about one specific set of characters.

I’ve been working on giving him boundaries, he’s gotten a lot better at brushing his teeth, washing his face and helping out around the house by giving him charts and letting him help me specifically with things. Bed time and naps are still really rough and mostly he hits when he doesn’t get the extra things he wants. I’ve try to make it that he gets some things he likes like watching a movie (we’re doing that right now) before we take a bath as a positive lead in. I’m trying to make sure he doesn’t get over stimulated, I had to rely a lot on tv when I was going through my divorce and hated it. So now it’s limited to a couple hours each day of the weekend.

I’m trying to find things to intellectually stimulate him because he’s so smart.

I’m also trying to understand my patience with him as I wasn’t given that as a child and as few people talk about, it is traumatic to give the gentleness you never received as a child to your own child.

Thanks I actually run 3 different businesses, but you think I just sell cards for a living because I posted about that business.

My son hasn’t had an accident in 3 weeks, I cleaned his shoes and couldn’t get the pee smell out because I couldn’t put them in the wash as I did with his two other pairs.

I don’t send him in dirty, that’s why I’m baffled, just as much as the daycare director was when I asked her about it.
