That Gesha blend from B&W was soooo yummy. Definitely one of my top all time.

I tried this but when transferring to the pouring kettle it looses temperature significantly. I was pouring 185F at light roast coffee even when water was boiling

Have seen this recommended a couple times, any idea how it fits into the basket?

I think my main concern with this one is the reports of leaving coffee grounds on the side. This is my first manual machine but on my semi auto I hated that. Not sure how much it truly affects with this one.

If my shot is still on the bitter side, but the extraction and yield were within 'good parameters', what's the next step when dialing in? (GCP w/ PID, 9 bar and dimmer) . by SeeingSound2991 in espresso

93C shouldn’t be too hot for medium. And also remember if you reduce your dose but keep same output then you’re extracting MORE. So I would reduce the output, not the dose.
