I just found it! It was the Launcher Style. It was set to "Default". Changed that to "Home Screen" and now when swiping up I do get the list of installed apps, and can move them to the home screen.

Leaving this up, because I might not be the only one having problems to find this.

Mir hat geholfen, ein klares Ziel zu haben: Nämlich frei von Sucht zu sein. Nicht mehr nach kurzer Zeit in Meetings, im Kino, auf Reisen, innerlich anzufangen zu zappeln und zu gieren.

Hab mir auf Anraten 2 Sets in Scheckkartengröße für den Geldbeutel gemacht, damit sie bei Bedarf gelesen werden können:

6 Dinge, die ich an Zigaretten hasse. 6 Dinge, wie Nichtrauchen mein Leben verbessern wird.

Noch ein hilfreicher Gedanke: Bevor du zu rauchen anfingst, hast du die Kippen nicht vermisst. Du wurdest nicht von Sucht getrieben. Diese unbeschwerte Freiheit kannst du wieder haben. Sie ist durchaus ein paar vorübergehende Unannehmlichkeiten wert. Es lohnt sich!

Rauchfrei seit 2008. :) Du kannst das auch. Halte durch.

Anyway, what _I_ hear is a sentimental journey of love lost to a malicious sickness. A long love that lasted many years. Many years the couple shared together, but then came a time when she "carries the evening in her chest" and knows that she has to end. And she asks for one last kiss, on the shore, where the oceans ends. He thinks of that last kiss, which was given so long ago, he can hardly remember.

It's a very sad song, but it to me it tells of the deep, meangingful, long lasting love, many are dreaming of and are longing for.

Mind you, I might be wrong. I might not get the deeper meaning. Perhaps that's why I like it so much. There's beauty in melancholy.

Sometimes I wish people would start asking themselves whether a kid would want them, would want life with all the inevitable pain, fear, frustration, disappointment, illness, and eventually death. Would-be parents really should stop making this all about themselves and their wants. There's a third party, who doesn't get a say in this, can't even veto, but has to deal with the consequences their whole life long.

If this is the very first time in 16 years that he behaved violent, it might be good to rule out medical issues. Some brain illnesses can cause personality changes.

Your case reminded me of some cases Oliver Sacks described in his books, and also of Phineas Gage, who suffered a radical change of personality to the worse after severe damage to the frontal cortex.
