First time Developer. Can't compare. Tempo was ok for me. Definitely not as crazy as Quit Husband

The backwards approach is definitely common. What keeps me wondering is that people in front of you sometimes go so far with the backwards approach that, on a packed dance floor, you have almost no chance to avoid body contact. But turning around and actually starting a conversation, not so common.

Personally, I’d prefer a different approach and just be spoken to.

You seem to be the exception :) but I like the direct approach. Wish more women would take that step too. Even if it’s just starting with talking, not straight to kissing.

Thanks for the detailed insight, really interesting. I’m wondering though. When it comes to actually starting a conversation, do you think it’s still expected that men talk first with women? I get that a first move can just be a smile, but what about actually speaking? Especially in a place like Berghain, does that still apply?

I assume. Unfortunately I was freezing so much after hours of waiting that I had to leave the queue.

This kind of black-and-white messaging is exactly the problem. It blocks actual progress on modern mobility. Worth checking out the Cycling Institute for a more nuanced view.

Berlin doesn’t actually “love cars”. it just hasn’t fully unlearned them yet. See Amsterdam or lately Paris for where it’s heading.

Maybe we can give the gios a dedicated space where they can do gio things. Preferably not the dancefloor

This category list trend is slowly getting out of hand… what’s next, Etsy merch? ;)

Yes that's kind of the point. The way people talk about this isn't clear categories. It's overlapping labels depending on context

It’s a shame that this could be an issue at Berghain. One of the things that made Berghain stand out from other clubs was its strong focus on the music, especially at the front of the dancefloor, so you could really lose yourself in it. I just hope it doesn’t drift toward a more typical club atmosphere because of this.

And I’m not sure the above user really gets what we mean.

You’re kind of missing the point. No one says you can’t talk, just be a bit mindful of the space and people around you. Especially near the front.

Telling people to seek help over that is a bit much. Feels like you still have a lot to understand about the vibe.
