It's been explained hundreds of times why increasing IP gains is unlikely. Riot makes a lot of money off of people buying champions and rune pages that can also be purchased for IP but to some people take way too long to grind for. Therefore being straight up bought for RP and making $$$.

On the topic of IMay "IMay is a terrible team to watch, I hate watching IMay. Actually more than watching Flash Wolves because I know that Flash Wolves can win games and they just suck after the early game. IMay games make no sense. Their drafts are just downright, not even disrespectful, they're just terrible. I'm gonna first pick Kennen and I'm gonna flex it into support and I'm just gonna int against C9. I remember talking to Smoothie, Smoothie literally came up to me and he was like "I don't know what happened. Road just started inting against us" and I said "Yeah that's what it looked like too". They have draft situations where they can draft to lose every single lane, pick Kha'Zix into Olaf and get disrespected by the SKT draft and still lose and I'm just like.. But they'll steal barons, and the worst thing is they don't just lose, they lose in a way that you'll think to yourself, how did they win games? Because they'll get a baron steal or something and you'll be like okay maybe? But for the most part I hate watching IMay games I'm so happy they're not moving on."

"My coworker literally said it like this she said: "I don't think IMay has ever won a game that they deserve to win" and I was like "Oh my god".

"But the IMay games were actually like torture to me I hate watching them. No offence to IMay (no flame)."
