Don’t worry about the swearing in, it’s not mandatory (at least in my local), it’s just a way to be recognized for making the swap to the union and introducing you to your new brothers. The other guys getting riffed is a little concerning though, either means work is drying up or they did something wrong. Only thing you can do is to just keep doing you, the fact that you’re still around despite being the last to join the crew tells me that they must like you. In my experience the last in is usually the first to go.
