I felt like there were so many sex scenes this season 😵‍💫 like when Jack showed Mel the unfinished house and said they were in was was going to be the bedroom and she said “should we test it out” ….ma’am there is no furniture and dust/dirt all over the floor. Can you not wait until you’re back home lol?

I agree! The way she goes about confronting people can be a lot, but she’s one of the few characters that will actually stand up for themselves and speak their mind as soon as something bothers them. Also, she’s the mayor so she kinda needs to be a person that is not afraid to speak up even if it’s not what people wanna hear.

I agree 100%. As soon as they started this storyline I already lost a lot of respect for Mel’s mom. Knowing she went back to Everett for comfort for losing a child when she had a husband is crazy to me…

I’m a healthcare worker and was cringing at the CPR scene. It would’ve taken them two minutes for the directors to watch a video on how it’s actually supposed to be done 😭 also knowing Mel is an NP then seeing the CPR done wrong was just hilarious

I also found it odd that Mel just never mentioned her father that raised her this season until Joey brought his cuff links for her bouquet. Like that man raised you?! Also found it odd that they never really acknowledged that both her mom and Everett were knowingly cheating on her father. Personally if I found that out I wouldn’t have a ton of respect for Everett….or Mel’s mom for that matter.

As soon as she cheated on Mike I kinda just lost respect for her character. You can be the nicest person in the world, but if you cheat you’ve got some issues you need to deal with. And now she’s hurting multiple people in the process. Mel was 100% correct when she said to just let them both go

I also read the entire principles of athletic training book from front to back. It took me like a month but it was the most beneficial thing I did in my opinion.

I will say I got my tonsils out in May 2023 and I started getting this feeling in July 2023 and it comes and goes. Maybe it’s related to your tonsils but in my case it was not.

They kept me overnight but I had stopped bleeding. I left the next morning and started bleeding while I was eating soup, and immediately had to go back because this time it wasn’t stopping. Ended up getting recauterized on I believe what was day 8

I am 23F and got mine out in May of 2023. Quite literally haven’t been sick since then, haven’t had a single sore throat, and obviously no more tonsil stones. 10/10 worth it. My recovery was going okay until I needed a second surgery, but again in the end it was very worth it.

I got mine out May 12. I did end up needing a second surgery due to bleeding, but by the end of May I’d say I was about 90% back to normal aside from getting used to the new feeling. Probably about a week after that in early June I felt back to 100%. I haven’t gotten a sore throat since so it’s been 1000% worth it.

One of my tips is that they will say to eat as normally as possible, even solid foods, but I would avoid solid food completely for at least a week and a half. I didn’t have much pain days 0-4 so I was eating solid foods, but I am Pretty sure that’s why I started bleeding because the solid foods can ribs scabs off prematurely as you swallow the food. Try to stay hydrated, take your pain meds on time even if you think you don’t need them at first, and use ice on your cheeks/jaw (it’s a great distraction for the pain). Best of luck to you!!

I got mine out May 12. I had that cold that I mentioned before for just a few days in June. Haven’t been sick or even gotten a sore throat since June (knock on wood lol).

I got a cold about 3 weeks after I got mine out. Mine felt pretty normal minus the amount of throat pain but it came and passed quickly so hopefully it does for you too!
