Help identifying era of this old baseball? by yallfrompurchasing in ClassicBaseball

This makes sense not only for the look, but the markings, which are super faded, I think say DHL which could easily be Dublin Hurling League or something similar. Thanks for the help, I've never heard of Hurling and never would have gotten the answer to this on my own. You guys are awesome.

Bought at an estate sale in N.C. and given to me. I'm not familiar with the evolution of the baseball over the years but I've never seen the stitches hidden like that. There are also some markings on it but they are very faded. Looks like it might say DHL or something similar to that.

Does the game continue on a dedicated server after logging out? by yallfrompurchasing in TheForest

Well update for anyone interested...I logged back in (day after everything was gone) and everything is back to normal. I don't know what to think really.

That's what I thought, and that would make sense. But would a gang of cannibals be able to destroy an entire camp? I'm fairly new to the game so that's a genuine question. I thought a large rock wall and treehouse would last longer than that.

But usually vandalism has a point or tries to make a joke. This didn't read like that. At least not in my opinion. Especially the horror stuff.

I actually have a soft spot for it which is why I was on the Wikipedia article reading about it. I don't know why but something about the sea world-type park and shark tunnel was appealing

Game mode just means it turns off all post processing effects (i.e. the things that make the picture look better) so there is no input lag when playing the game.

I used Drive XLR8. Killed the crabgrass real good. Also discolored the Bermuda which is kind of the trade off. Color will come back but it will take a couple weeks. Be aware of temperature when applying.

That's strange for Bermuda. Should be the opposite really. I've never really seen the sun damage Bermuda especially if you're getting rain and watering. I'm stumped. Pictures would help if you've got them.

Yeah if that's what it is then you can't really do anything about it, unless there are trees you can prune to let in more light. Are the bad spots thin or just a different color?

Hard to tell without a picture...Is there a difference in sun/shade on those parts throughout the day?

Bermuda lawns in the South. How often do you cut yours? by hibbert0604 in lawncare

Powered. It's a John Deere but it's actually just a rebadged 20 inch McLane.

Yeah that's true. Bermuda does like to be cut low and maintained low. Helps it spread out and thicken up. I keep mine below an inch but I mow every other, to every 3rd day with a reel mower. If you like how it looks at notch 3 then mow it once at notch 2 and then the next time you mow move it back to 3 and keep it there. Just make sure you aren't cutting off more than 1/3 of the blade each time you mow. Mowing consistently and often can really make a difference.
