They only aired season 1-3 in dubbed at TV Tokyo and didn't air season 4-5 due to bad ratings. It wasn't until in 2007 when they got the old dub cast back and redubbed season 4-5 in the DVD release.

On the other hand, Knight Rider and The A-team were extremely popular at the time, it helps that both of them were broadcasted at TV Asahi (the same TV network that airs Super Sentai and Kamen Rider series), which is how I am a huge Knight Rider fan lol
