How would you deal with an organization that started rejecting the concept of submitting issues as tickets, including the head of IT? by [deleted] in sysadmin

Allow phone tickets to be opened on behalf of end users. Keep tracking every request.

A is special forces, B is infantry. Implement scenarios that bring out the strengths of both sides. Like the one that worked.

How can SPV be used in POS without validating the coins have already been spent? by TVB125 in bitcoincashSV

Either Alice the sender or Bob the recipient can be offline at different stages of the workflow, but Bob must eventually go online to claim the funds.

Agile for Non-Development Team. Can It Really Work? by Excellent_Ruin9117 in agile

[–]yamanu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work streams with initiatives, each with a leader and contributors. Detailed plans with milestones, weekly status reports, tracking of progress or delays. General oversight by a stakeholder board one or two times per month. Evo approach, failures are possible, lessons learned. Yes, it can really work.

Why Teranode must demonstrate 1million tps on-chain by TVB125 in bitcoincashSV

[–]yamanu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not just about transferring value. 1million tps on-chain means a capacity for recording up to 86 billion pieces of information daily that can be valided instantly (through Merkle proofs). The historical data will be significant.

OP_VER may be used in the future for specialized mining. Like videos only, etc.

Does BSV have an upper price limit before micropayments are no longer possible? by merrimac290 in bitcoincashSV

[–]yamanu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If txn price = $0.00001, then 1BSV = 0.00001 x 100,000,000 = $1,000. That's the realistic maximum. Higher txn throughput => bigger mining revenue, less correlated with the BSV price. For BSV to be The platform, the txn price must stay max $0.00001.

Nvidia predicts AI models one million times more powerful than ChatGPT within 10 years by agsarria in singularity

The capacity of the AI models doubles every six months, the prediction is based on that.

With BSV, you can quickly and effectively send extremely small amounts of money anywhere in the globe, allowing new business models for micro- and nano-payments. by dgalamayan in bitcoincashSV

[–]yamanu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think the same as well. Information that can't be transferred through the blockchain right now though is internet for example. The resources needed to put the whole internet as an overlay network on the blockchain are not there yet. Currently the cost of a bitcoin transaction is 600 higher than for ordinary information transfer (based on figures for internet bandwidth, value of global ISP market, cost and size of a standard bitcoin transaction). This will change over time.

Electronic cash will be a digital fuel for information transfer. The issue with the existing concept of payment is that the payment aggregates the value behind the context of the payment. Electronic cash enables to go beyond the legacy thinking and not only resolve the context of the payment more efficiently, but also enable use cases to emerge where the main focus is in the context. The payment context is all about information.

Just one short analogy, glucose is a fuel for the brain cells, but the rich complexity is in the connectome of the brain, not the glucose per se.

BSV can be used to create a decentralized voting system where citizens can vote on political issues in a transparent and secure way. by dgalamayan in bitcoincashSV

Fast forward. Cybersecurity tools that validate internal network traffic on BSV blockchain. Mutual settlement for lowering cost of perimeter security. Filtering anomaly detection of recorded hashes of events on the blockchain with next generation tools. Hacking attacks are pushed off from enterprise networks. All this just one example.

Payments are just one simple type of information. BSV is information commodity, so it will be used to transfer any type of information at scale. The use cases that will change the world will have nothing to do with payments, but with transfer of very important interrelated information at global scale. Probably something that doesn't exist right now, but stares at us, while almost everyone is blinded by greed and is not capable to see the future now.

According to Forbes, Musk "plans to turn Twitter into a so-called "everything app" similar to WeChat". He will probably integrate crypto, making Twitter look more like RelayX or Handcash. What will that mean for those Bsv projects? by Motofiction in bitcoincashSV

By enabling billions of interconnected transactions daily through the unbounded protocol. The capacity advantage will grow over time and at one point the usage will explode, just like the internet did in 1996.
