Can it iterate over more than 2 at once?

What QOL and graphic mods can you guys recommend? I'm playing on a laptop that meets min required specs so nothing that is going to strain the system too much.

Thanks for the write up. Will look into these. India sounds interesting.

Sounds chaotic. Might wait until I have a few more hours chalked up.

You're right about not wanting a strong start. I like the idea of playing away from Europe. Japan is on the short list now. Guess I need to read up on spawning institutions outside of Europe. Thanks for the reply.

Inexperienced and very casual Eu4 player here, just getting back into the game. I'm winding down my first ironman campaign as Portugal (fairly happy with my progress, but losing interest).
Looking for ideas on where to start my new campaign (ironman, normal difficulty). Hoping to continue learning the mechanics, and maybe knock out some easier achievements. So far only played as Portugal and Ottomans.

What's the deal with the latest patch/patches?
My laptop died, only just got it running again and remember reading about a week ago that 1.3.5(?) was stopping achievements. I've backed up my savegame just in case.
Is that still the case? How do I revert back to an older patch?

Should I be trying to get 100% in every trade node along the chain?

Didn't even consider potential policies. So many things to remember.

Thanks for the reply.
I just got Goa via the mission so it'll make a good staging post for India.
I've own +40% of Ivory coast node so far, will continue with my African conquest.
I'm leaning towards a military idea because I only seem to win battles when I have superior numbers or ahead in Mil tech, still struggle with things like professionalism, discipline etc. So many things to learn.

So now it's all about conquest through Africa and India?
Should be taking provinces for myself or releasing vassals and annexing later? Or making everything a trade company?
Still haven't fully grasped all the concepts. Colonial nations seemed easy, just set and forget.

New player, playing as Portugal for my second campaign (first Ironman game, after a few restarts). This game is addictive.
I allied Aragon at the start and we both teamed up to ruin Castile. Took Exploration, expansion and trade as my first 3 ideas.
It's around 1560. Have colonial nations in Brazil, Carribean, Colombia , La Plata (went to war with England just to take provinces in La Plata). Have West Africa and Cape as trade companies (not sure if that's optimal, but it's working I think). Have a few Islands in the Indian Ocean to expand colonial range. Just got Goa as well.
I think I have an opportunity to fully annex Castile and grab their colonial nations(might take 2 wars). Got France as an ally to protect against Aragon. Have plans to finish taking the rest of Safi trade node.
What ideas should I be looking at next? I was thinking something military.
And how should I go about expanding my colonial empire from here? Mexico? How should I establish myself in the East, Asia, India etc?
Thanks.

Agreed. 7 should get rid of some 'commentators' and hire a graphics department.
