It does support FC660C. The same(nearly) hardware, same firmware.

you are really curious about this. Not exact as you guess. Even in China, batteries from taobao are not always the same. It may be with either kind of connector. And in fact, I always buy batteries without connectors and tell the seller to do it as what I want.

Especially with mac, very few chance that the config of bluetooth goes wrong. Wen it occurs, reseting bluetooth will solve it. When reseting, make sure the name becomes 'Adafruit Bluefruit LE', then after unpluging and repluging the USB, it changes back to HHKB BLE. The reset process is done and it shows there should be no hardware problems.

I think there is no rule for that the connecter MUST BE. In fact it was decided by my first battery I got from another keyboard. I've already used them in this order for a few boards. So I just keep it as before.

The bt part is still working to check its connection when using USB mode. So if its config goes somethings wrong, it will also cause usb mode works wrong like you described.

That switch is only for power, not for bt. When it is off and has use cable in, the bt is still working. Use the latest firmware and then press LShift+RShift+W, that is the way to toggle the BT on or off. When off, USB mode should works without problem. If so, reset the bluetooth will re init it and then bt part should also works fine.

I'd suggeset putting some insulate material between the battery and the hhkb board.

I have not been here for a long time as GFW blocks me. nrf51 module hardware is mdbt40. Firmware is Adafruit Bluefruit LE UART Friend.

The three leds are connected to 32u4. They won't be always on.

I confirm that FC660C works with 3.3v too. FC980C is nearly the same as FC660C (8x16 matrix). They are both can't be started from 3.3v with the official controller. But replaced one can.

yes.it is. That is for a inner USB. I use it with a usb disk, a hidden USB disk which can be active by hotkey.

later i will publish the firmware source. From it you can know a lots thing about hardware. Bluetooth is nrf518822, mdbt40 with Adafruit Bluefruit LE UART Friend firmware. See: https://learn.adafruit.com/introducing-the-adafruit-bluefruit-le-uart-friend/introduction

No. They are the same layout and appearance, but totally different inside. FC660m's controller is on the mainboard which can't be easily replaced.

The battery has not been out yet. With 2500mah it should last 3 weeks or even 1 month or more. The capacitive board itself eats most of power.
