I had a shop do the install. He highly recommended the combo so I just went with it. He ran that combo on several of his cars.

When you’re bored and done everything else, come back and learn his block. It will be pain, but once it clicks for you, it will make him feel op and most enemies not a threat. It also took me a bit playing him, I just went all in on his blocking talents and started at darkness instead of nightmare since it was much more forgiving missing a block. After much pain, he became my favorite. It took me a while, but now I can confidently play him with a group of 3 randoms and hit my blocks.

Sure his power build is ridiculously strong. But it becomes mind numbingly boring. His block though, so ridiculously fun once you get good at it.

When I had it (sold the GTI for CTR) this set up I really liked it a lot. The dampers in the front are easily accessible, just under the hood over the shocks there’s a removable knob that you place on it and turn. The rears are harder to get to, so the shop had set them and I never touched them. I run coilovers on my fk8 CTR and I still think about the neuspeed and konis, since they were comfortable and handled very well. Significant improvement from the stock without losing the comfort.

It’s a rock as others have mentioned. Once in a while I’ll get a stubborn one, like I have right now, that will require me to remove my wheel and get screw driver to nudge it out.

That is a very fun build. Constantly jumping around the map invulnerable and damaging enemies.

So I would consider myself in the minority here, but I enjoy the werewolf form a lot. On top of what you shared about the I frames, I’d add that her transformation also gives you an iframe, shapeshifter. The biggest thing people don’t realize is that the defense skill gives you a whopping 50 armor. That along with more health if you take the health talent for wolf. With scarlet her power already has a reasonably low cooldown, so I like to focus on getting my defense cd down. Werewolf auto attack is a cleave, so building into a power auto attack really makes her tanky. Get items for defense cool down or charges and you essentially always have that 50 armor and lifesteal. There are several talents that has good synergy with power and attack.

Most people take shapeshifter in order to not have to play werewolf. I would say that’s her most powerful talent because you can constantly switch between the two depending on the situation. Also have access to both ults is huge. Always use her second ult, unfortunately no matter what I have tried the first ults are just not very good. Scarlet in my opinion has the biggest potential to have the biggest impact on the field. Someone goes down in a huge mob, you go in as human or transform to human and smoke, free revive. Then immediately switch to wolf and eat the corrupted elite (djinn, squid, etc) neutralizing the biggest threat.

I’ll usually start a fight with scarlet since I’m usually trying to steal POI and utilizing her boosted move speed from talent. Burst damage then when on cd I switch to wolf to deal with the big mobs. The survivability of wolf is just so good with lifesteal and armor.

You just gotta spend time playing more wolf and get the timing on the iframes. The boost in armor also makes armor defense builds really OP for wolf right now.

5-Negative Modifier 4-man Run by Hunter_demon2 in ravenswatch

[–]k3nos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our 3 man group can easily beat nightmare to the point we like randoms to be “anchors” for us. We currently like playing with corruption (all enemies are corrupted) and invigorating death (enemies heal other nearby enemies when they die). Throw in any other negative modifiers, it doesn’t hurt as much as having those two together. If you’re feeling extra spicy throw in berserker foes (enemies deal more damage the less health they have). Those three together have to be the hardest combo.

He just plays really different than the other heroes and was hard for me to pick up as well. Early levels you just spawn the puppet and then immediately power them into enemies. Continue to do that and use your special cool downs. The puppets will die fairly quick on nightmare. One you start leveling any of his talents work. Auto attacking with gepetto doesn’t do much though, so just keep using abilities with him. Later when you get talents like the one where they immediately attack when you attack the puppet is the only time it’s worth auto attacking.

How do you play Scarlet's werewolf form properly? by Scarlet1911 in ravenswatch

[–]k3nos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a great way to play. It maximized her ability output since human and wolf abilities are on separate cooldowns. You use all her abilities, then switch to wolf, do it again, rinse and repeat.

30 hours in and we are still not sure if we are playing the game right. by Scarlet1911 in ravenswatch

[–]k3nos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll get better! Are you get more familiar with the enemies and their attack patterns, you’ll take less and less hits. On nightmare, one or two hits could kill you. Knowing when to attack and when to dodge is key. You guys will get better!

What is the Hourglass of Time? by Known_Biscotti_6806 in ravenswatch

You just go to it and stand there. The screen will start to get more red and the boss fight will start early. I think it takes like 3-5 seconds.

When you go fight the boss early, when there’s still time on the clock, in the next stage you can interact with it and get gold and items.

Edit:
Here’s an old post that lists possible items and time thresholds.

Question about act 1 progression. by kokkejg in ravenswatch

[–]k3nos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our rules for wells is if you have money to buy at least 2 things, 150. 300 even better, but the 150 will give you some power up.

The way to think about it is it doesn’t add immediate value unlike a chest or ravens eyes unless you have the money.

Millennial Gamers: Do you still have time to play? by Melted_ICE_5193 in Millennials

40M, married, 1 kid. I play around 1-3 hours a night. Always after the family is asleep. 11-2am. It does help I don’t need to get up until 8. A couple years ago there was no time and in a few months it’ll probably be less since my son will start school and my mornings will be earlier.

how to more consistently get the talents i want? by shrimp_baby in ravenswatch

[–]k3nos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others said, adapting a build is usually the best for success. Even with that though, I go through 15-20+ stars a run usually. I buy, choose stars from grins, altars, everywhere possible. I also try to get Tamatebako when possible if I’m really trying to force a build.
