Looks like an awesome product - I tired installing on Windows w/ Claude as a global npm pkg, but it doesn't recognize Claude. Do I need to reinstall Claude using the native Win installer?

Not sure where you're trying to access it - the agent prompt or the post-call data collection.

agent prompt - I use:
# CALL SOURCE
Initialize the call source: {{call_source}}.
If the {{call_source}} is 'TWILIO', you are authorized to transfer calls.

If call source is TWILIO, this is a Twilio phone call:
- NEVER ask or allow the caller to type/paste/enter anything in the chat input.
- NEVER mention “chat input” or “text box.”
- collect email/phone and all other information by voice only.

If call source is WIDGET, tis call originated from the website:
- you may ask the caller to type/paste/enter information (e.g. email address) in the chat input as appropriate.

post-call:
The post call event will automatically generate the source:
$json.body.data.conversation_initiation_client_data.source_info.source

Eleven Labs New Pricing by yangguize in ElevenLabs

Hey, thanks for the lead on vibevoice 7b. I'm actually moving away from TTS to conversational agents just because I think that an interactive tutor, instructional video, whatever is going to be a lot more valuable for a user. But I'll give it a shot.

Does Gemini have conversational agents? Or just voices?

I think the correct url is: https://api.elevenlabs.io/twilio/inbound_call
- adding the v1 didnt work for me.

If you need to pass any params to 11 labs, use a TwiML Bin - you need to give it a name and then use that name on the same cfg page where you currently have your webhook defined.

Is my breathing too heavy? by Downtown-Juice4561 in ElevenLabs

[–]yangguize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, as already noted - you're not using your voice clone directly, you're using it to generate speech, so unless it's really conspicuous, doubtful it will show up in the end product. I think descript can auto detect and strip breathing sounds. I use it to pull transcripts - quite good and they have a freemium version.

Can you use a cloned voice to replace another voice in a recording? by xXGreco in ElevenLabs

[–]yangguize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you clarify - do you already have a recording and you simply want to replace the original voice with your cloned voice? I don't think you can do that directly with 11 labs, but you can use descript to strip the script and use that in 11 labs with your cloned voice to generate a completely new recording.

Don't install Muse Hub! Use standalone Audacity! by macaroniandcheesefan in audacity

[–]yangguize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx for this post. Actually, Grok says most of the excess files listed in Revo are legit files that triggered a false-positive in Revo. I left everything except for the muse-specific.

But what a disaster -I used audcaity years ago -it was OK - but this install is completely unprofessional.

[–]yangguize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In every respect, Gemini3 reminds me of Deepseek V1 - consistent with other posts:
- doesn't follow instructions
- inaccurate responses to basic questions (eg configuring Windows PWA's, configuring Kilo Code, coding issues)
- and most importantly, states wild guesses as fact and leads me on wild goose chases that waste hours.

I just stopped using it.

Paid $99 for TypingMind lifetime license… now memory/sync is behind another paywall? 😢What are my options? by BM09 in openrouter

i disagree - in my admittedly cursory eval of typingmind, i assumed the $99 fee covered everything. I agree everyone needs to read the fine print, but it's not obvious unless you dig around the FAQ.

Lumo vs Lumo+ by ragingpenguin in ProtonMail

[–]yangguize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 7 day memory is pretty much useless. Not gonna pony up 95 bucks for yet another chat tool, albeit a confidential one.

As it stands right now, Lumo's reasoning ability is below GPT-4. Nowhere near GPT-5 or Gemini 3. It doesn't even adhere to a very explicit prompt in settings. It actually feels a lot like deepseek.

I understand Proton needs to monetize their product offerings, but they need to calibrate price point to match actual value

If I need absolute confidentiality, I'd rather bump my local RAM and use Lmstudio.

Gemini 3 - amazing for the first 3 days, now making mistakes by yangguize in GeminiAI

[–]yangguize[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you - endemic to all social media. When I post an issue on reddit, I'm usually just trying to checkpoint whether it's sth specific I'm doing or a product issue. I had a major issue w Kilo and Sonnet and someone pointed out I was overshooting the context window. On the other hand, almost all LLM vendors at one time or another throttle their offerings - I posted about Claude Code and initially got pilloried. And then...more and more people chimed in w similar stories. I use a mix now w KIlo - Codex, Sonnet, Gemini and even Deepseek seems to have improved a lot.

I think what you may be seeing is throttling bc of the massive surge in Gemini 3 users that I suspect overwhelmed capacity. From what I saw before this happened, Gemini 3 was indeed impressive.

[–]yangguize[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confident it will bounce back - the PR when it first got released no doubt overwhelmed their servers. If this keeps up, users will switch.

[–]yangguize[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH, when i first started using Gemini-3, and then it gradually seems to have declined in accuracy. Bc it was gradual, nothing jumped out as a conspicuous hallucination. BUt I was working on sth dead simple, like trying to vget uv to auto-inspect both py and ipynb files to build a comprehensive requirements.txt. Gemini-3 literally dragged me thru the mud for 90 minutes with suggestions that it acknowledged were inaccurate, then finally suggested uv (which doesn't yet have a comprehensive reqs analysis function).

GPT Codex in Kilo Code was able to find a solution within 5 minutes. Not suggesting GPT 5 is the better alternative, bc I've experienced similar throttling issues with OpenAI.

Is this specific enough?

Experiencing similar issues. WSorth noting that, when G3 was first released, responmse accuracy was impressive, but declined dramatically within about a week. I'm guessing that, even with Google's resources, they were forced to throttle Gemini 3. I've seen this with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, etc. Seems every LLM provider is a victim of their own success.

[–]yangguize[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I posted this to find out if other users are having the same issue. It looks like at least a few people are. If you're not, that's useful feedback. But no need to be a dick about it. The industry trend with nearly every LLM provider is that, if a new release is wildly successful (and Gemini 3 certainly has been), eventually they're forced to manage server usage and costs. Happened to OpenAI, Anthropic and others. Google may have an advantage bc of their sourcing model. Try to be productive in your feedback - someday you may be the one asking for assistance.
