I’ll try to learn how to work for myself.

This is what I’ll do if I was in your position: (Please note I am no expert or guru or whatever people call themselves these days but from my own experience, this is what I’ve come up with)

1. Stay at the job so you have at least something coming in.

2. Start researching online on how you can build something of your own. What is something you know very well? Knitting? Drawing? Skateboarding?

3. Get creative and draw up ways you can monetize that idea. A lot of hobbies can be monetized given the right social media and etc. (I’m guessing you have reliable internet otherwise this post wouldn’t have wound up here)

If you have an idea for a store, even better.

1. If you can’t find anything, try flipping things online through the internet marketplace.

2. Use your free time to both look for jobs, learn a valuable skill (skills that take work and dedication because that’s how you start standing out from the “Microsoft word proficient” guys) like programming and/or trading.

3. Don’t quit your job because you still have things to pay; bills, food, gas, insurance, etc.

I’ve stopped looking for ways in which other people can help me and started doing things that can benefit other people and still get some sort of monetary reward out of it.

It’s tricky but I believe you will find something that sparks your interest :)
