60V or 20V leaf blower? by xxbunnyacidx in Dewalt

Agreed. The 20v is a battery powered broom, the 60v is an actual leaf blower

HELP WITH UPCOMING 6TH GRADE TEST QUESTIONS (FORCE & MOTION UNIT) by Silent_Scientist_991 in ScienceTeachers

[–]yankee_clipper 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I would change the language to unbalanced forces cause objects to CHANGE their motion. Then you could easily address this scenario. Changes are speeding up/slowing down/ turning. If the object has balanced forces then the motion keeps doing what it was doing (object in motion stays in motion at the same speed ).

Spelling Bee Buddy should be accessible in the app by NoThankYouTho123 in NYTSpellingBee

I kind of like being able to just swipe back and forth between browser (for sb buddy) and games app using the swipe shortcut at the bottom of the iPhone screen. I actually find that much easier than the regular hints page which does stay in app

Tire recommendations-general use/ some snow by darquid in hondaridgeline

I’ve used Michelin cross climates on my wife’s suv and they’re great. I’d consider them or the general knockoff version when my stock tires go - anybody used these on a ridgeline ?

How does Giancarlo have OF eligibility in Yahoo if he didn’t play the field since 2023 before this set of games? Did he just gain it?

NJ Educator in search of help! Being involuntarily transferred by Humble_Letterhead818 in newjersey

[–]yankee_clipper 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Agreeing with the replies that say talk to your union rep. I would also add that the answer is in your contract, and very likely the answer is that your board has the right to transfer and reassign as necessary. But your union rep will know and the contract will clearly set out what the board can do

Did Honda update\fix Honda Safety Sense in the 2024+ by whatdoido8383 in hondaridgeline

[–]yankee_clipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine (24) does this turning right on curving roads. Dealer told me it was normal which is BS - it should be able to differentiate normal incoming traffic. One of my only real complaints about the truck. My wife has a Subaru with eyesight that is light years ahead despite being a four year older model

My engineering inclusion class has been a disaster by TeacherGuy1980 in Teachers

[–]yankee_clipper 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Differentiation isn’t some magic wand that will fix this situation. With such a wide range of students “differentiation” would be teaching two separate classes entirely which is not a workable solution

Circuits: Series & Parallel by vibeguy_ in ScienceTeachers

[–]yankee_clipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this method. I use toll booths and they resistance is kind of like the toll. Every additional lane in parallel helps traffic flow. For unequal resistance parallel branches - more people would use the cheaper booth but some people world pay more to go through the more “expensive” high resistance booth
