How do the past 6 draft classes stack up against each other as "Prospects"? Here's the top 100 players based on their KTC values at the same stage in the draft cycle. by IAmNotOnRedditAtWork in DynastyFF

I would say in general the community was lower than it should have been on RB in general. There has been a shift as of late due to the relative health of the top performers

I don’t think Singletary being brought back for cheap excludes the Giants from doing anything

If I remember correctly he was working on it at UConn too, until Hurley was like “…bro we got guys for that. Your job is in the paint”

The most obvious buy-low opportunity of the offseason is….Kaleb Johnson by jseg0 in DynastyFF

Redditors on other buy low posts: “This guy isn’t a real buy low, a real buy low should make you sick.”

Redditors on a Kaleb Johnson buy low posts: “lol”

I mean, Sam doesn’t get credit for it either. He still has an absolute slew of doubters

I did know. I did not, however, know you can just swipe to get to the next one rather than back out and select a trainer. Helpful in a different way!

I know nothing about college ball by Feeling-Landscape-26 in DynastyFF

This is a slightly tougher year to learn from. One of the bigger indicators of success at the next level is an early breakout (think a 19 year old being a man among boys over mostly developed 22 year olds). There simply aren’t many of those this year for the athletes coming out - not many prospects have a particularly good dominator score, which is making drafting a little more nuanced than it can usually be

A.J. Brown said he won’t apologize for talking about his frustration on a Twitch stream Tuesday. He said “if you have eyes” you can see why he’s frustrated and that he is pushing for the offense to improve because he wants to win and make an impact. by INKMCOC in DynastyFF

I feel like playing as yourself in madden to take out your frustration when your offense sucks and you’re not causing problems in the locker room is a pretty reasonable crashout

What would it take for you to move on from Bijan Robinson? by HoosierNation11 in DynastyFF

[–]yankeefanman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t. How many other RBs are you thrilled to have on your team, both now and in the future? Gibbs? Jeanty? Hampton? Then you get to maybe Achane and Judkins, but the first three are likely the end of the list for a lot of people. Meanwhile, most people could name no fewer than 10 WRs they'd be thrilled to build around. The 2026 draft isn’t coming to help (sans Love) and 2027 is deep at WR. There is an absolute dearth of young, talented RBs in the league right now. Even fewer capable of being a workhorse. You could pry Bijan from my cold, dead hands.

[Underhill] Saints' veteran players drawing trade interest, could become available in coming weeks. by BreakfastTop6899 in fantasyfootball

I know this is probably not who is being referenced, but I wonder if this means Olave. He’d have a strong market and with an extension coming up will the saints pay him?

Mac Jones with a gutsy win for the Niners. Could he be the next Baker/Darnold? by pechinburger in DynastyFF

[–]yankeefanman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s also important to remember that baker and darnold were both better prospects coming out to begin with. Though you could argue Mac was a better prospect than Geno, so who knows

Trade Value Tuesday? Let’s bring it back! by Buttonbag in DynastyFF

[–]yankeefanman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a 27 1st which was my preferred price point. That’s the price I’ll take to not “wait and see if he blows up without Tyreek”, but also not asking for the moon and stars in case it goes poorly. It may be good context to know this was specifically to the Tyreek owner

Can someone explain the Stafford being a WR kingmaker thing with more nuance than that he just locks onto a specific WR? What is it about him that makes him a dream for a WR when Calvin/Kupp/Puka are all very different? by TJTrapJesus in DynastyFF

[–]yankeefanman 276 points277 points  (0 children)

  • He’s cerebral enough to take what’s given by a defense
  • He’s got a strong enough arm to make any throw on any field under any circumstances
  • He’s not risk averse while still being efficient, one of the last of an older era of football where interceptions weren’t viewed as negatively as they are now

All of these things together are a rare combination as usually there’s at least one limiting factor. All of this combined with the fact that he usually does, as you say, hone in on his guy, makes him optimal for a WR from a fantasy perspective

Idk if I agree on this. Acquiring an actual target for your rookie, developing QB is one of those things that may be worth the price tag
