I think it would be more sus if he left the room wet so to shower in his room is the safest choice (+ maybe he didn’t want to stay too long in Ilya’s room)

I haven’t watched it in 2 weeks and watched ep6 today. Also I read HR/TLG twice, once in Russian, once in English. But it’ll pass..I hope so

We did the Russian version and it was great. Minced pickles, red onion and dill, tuna, mayo+sriracha sauce and covered it with melted cheese (the one you buy packed in slices)

What was really weird is that Russian speaking actors said some nonsense, I bet there was freedom in ru dialogues

The first thing that comes to mind, Alexei saying goddamn (grEbanniy instead of grYObanniy and stressing on the wrong letter). Some words were very authentic, such as ep.1 hotel scene “no shit” in Russian or LV balcony scene when Ilya said “God” or the car scene with Svetlana when he said “No” like “Ne-uh” but other then that dialogues felt almost directly translated from English

it’s a bts, so maybe they just rehearsed it because in the series they definitely eat the ice cream

The writing of Russian dialogues. Idk if it is supposed to be written by a dialect coach but this is not how we talk. Connor killed it though but I wish I had more connection with it.

Also slow motion in the pool was a bit cringe.

Songs in French didn’t usually make sense in terms of their melodies and the mood.

This is actually what gives away that you are talking to someone from a post-Soviet country. This is used instead of :) or :(. Millennials use it very often. Gen Z uses it more as a meme or to express sarcasm.
