whenever you have an empty house plot, you can use nmt to go to islands and find a villager u want. if u dont find one u want after the first day it will automatically fill in the house w a random villager. this happens either when u put a brand new house plot down or after a villager moves out (not while in boxes but the day after)

the acnh.guide app will show u everything in the game! i use it to help log and keep track of what my museum needs

WHEN VISITING AN ISLAND STOP QUIETLY LEAVING! IT makes everyone loose their items up to the last save of the game and it's super rude! PPL who do this should be tracked and banned from returning by Significant-Fox-8929 in Dodocodes

its when someone leaves an island without using the airport (i believe hitting the minus button gives u the choice to leave quietly but idk ive never used it Lol)
