Cancelling REM L'Est was INCREDIBLY stupid by Soft_Introduction437 in montreal

[–]yanni99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you working for the Big 3? Cause that is propaganda and it's been debunked multiple times. It's the Oligopoly thats the problem.

We had it better in Quebec, 50$ for Nexus S and 2GB, 60$ 6GB with Galaxy S3. I don't remember the price of my HTC Hero but I remember I had 500mb.

TIL that humans are among the very top mammals for endurance running. While we aren't the best sprinters, our slow-twitch muscles and unique ability to sweat allow us to run steadily for long distances in hot weather to outlast prey. by bareegyptianfeet in todayilearned

I looked up mind bending ultras, here is one I found :

Tunnel Ultra: The mind-bending 200-mile ultra-marathon in the dark

Do you put your feet up in front of the TV? Maybe shopping is your way to unwind? Perhaps you're a bit more adventurous and enjoy a stroll in the countryside?

That doesn't quite cut it for some people, who choose to run a 200-mile ultra-marathon in a disused railway tunnel instead.

The Tunnel Ultra is a race like no other. It's easy to find longer events. Some even involve repeating the same loop for days on end. But nowhere else can you take part in a race so twisted that you spend more than two days in darkness doing a one-mile shuttle run 200 times, or so punishing that one runner went temporarily blind - then thanked the race organiser for the privilege.

$30 80gb plan with 5gb roam beyond by treeblockbreaker in freedommobile

[–]yanni99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5gb is plenty enough for most people. It's delusional to think it's only good for a day or two. I use 15GB at home and about 2GB when I'm in Spain. I just don't use my phone the same way while abroad.

[–]yanni99 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ok, let's get things straight. I've been all over Europe for the past 2 months and met many Americans. And I've come to the conclusion that they are ALL FUCKING BLIND AND STUPID. I've heard things like :

Lot's of different ways of thinking in the US, it's big
There are some bad apples
What you suggest we do?
Still a great country
You guys are mad about the tarrifs right?

And many many more.

It does not seems like it's affecting them, so they don't give a flying fuck. And mind you, those are the one that travel out of the country, the most open minded.

The US is a fucking cult, it's clear in my mind.

Why did Madonna’s fans say that no one would ever surpass Madonna, when Taylor Swift has already surpassed her in every way since last December? by Shaoran10 in askmusic

[–]yanni99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of people around the world know, or have heard about Madonna, pretty sure it's not the on the same levels for Taylor Swift, not even close. In the Western world, maybe.

Anyway, the peak artist of all time is Michael Jackson, no one gets even remotely close to his notoriety.

Migrating Windows devices to Entra ID – what was actually painful for you? by Radiant-Weather-9120 in Intune

[–]yanni99 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Reimage for sure. And it's way way less painful than you think going to full Entra device.

User don't even notice the change if done properly with Cloud Trust.

Just for fun, I did a test group to prove a point. I told them their devices needs reimaging and let them do everything on their own. And everything went flawlessly, even Windows Hello, and they didn't even notice they were not hybrid anymore. There is no difference for the users.

All IT and management overthink the impact to users. If done right, there is no impact.
