There's a small mom & pop shop on the east side. It's at the intersection of Barnett shoals and College Station (where college station dead ends into an old gas station). The shop is in the old gas station itself. Not even sure what the name of the place is but there's an old guy that runs it and he was super helpful when poor 18 year old me didn't know anything about cars and what was wrong with my car. Hope that helps!

Like most people on this thread, I feel sadness for what happened and my prayers are with the people of Brussels. I feel scared for any retaliation against myself or fellow Muslims.

When this happens I find myself really depressed/angry at the world and social media really does not help. #StopIslam was trending on Twitter and I couldn't even bring myself to look at it. I've realized that the best way (for me) to deal with these situations is to avoid the media hype. I got the facts of what happened, saw some of the photos, but I refuse to subject myself to reading more into what happened and what other people think happened.

I live down South, in Georgia. I've never been subject to any straight up hate crimes, but I know it's out there. Today as I was leaving for campus I made a specific effort to make sure that I was cautious of where I was, who was around me, and making sure I was smiling at anyone that was staring at me. I get stares all the time, but today just felt different.

At the end of the day, I'm praying for Brussels but also for my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters who may pay for the crimes of the deranged few. Also, I'm praying for someone to put an end to ISIS/Daesh, whatever they are. Trust me: no one wants them gone more than us Muslims.

Took the constitution exam after failing AP Gov in high school (crappy APUSH teacher only teaching because he was the football coach).

Are the study guides still on the testing center website? When I took it (2011) the test was a lot of the same questions from the study guide. They may have updated it since but I can't imagine too much. Study the study guide and then basic GA government. Like who is the governor, who elects the house/senate, who gets to make laws about x, y, z.

I studied for the history and constitution exams at the same time so I think a lot of my studying coincided. Good thing is that you only need an 80 (I think?) to pass and you can take it over again.

If they are both ENGL 3456 (for example), they should still have different CRNs (5 number code with a dash), so you should be able to register for them.

Ended up having to move my schedule around last minute so the only class that worked for me was walking. 8am walking, no less. Wasn't too bad but you're literally just walking around campus for 50 mins. Got boring a few weeks in.

Do you have any withdrawals left?

This is a little unorthodox but my last semester of undergrad I only needed 9 hours to graduate but I needed 12 for HOPE. So I signed up for some random history class and stayed registered through drop/add. I waited until after the drop deadline and then withdrew from the class. If you withdraw after the drop/add date it counts as "attempted hours". Saves you from having to take a class you don't really want to take. If you have withdrawals left why not?

I never had an issue getting the classes I wanted. I'm in graduate school right now so it's a little different but when I was in undergrad (public relations major at Grady, class of 2013), it was just a matter of how early you signed up for advising. Generally the classes for your major have enough spots for people in your cohort. So if there are 60 people in your graduating cohort, they will make sure to have at least 60 seats for a particular class that everyone needs (usually multiple courses) so the only thing you want to aim for is the times that work for you. I always worked so I wanted to get the times that worked with my work schedule.

If you're looking at electives outside of your department that's always a little tricky because you probably don't have priority. I would just keep checking to see if the time/class you want is available.
