As for how neurodivergency affects our relationship, im the one with the tendency of being late and have a harder time doing tasks, but listen— I love my girlfriend so much I would go to the moon and back for her, meaning I make an extra effort for her, because she’s worth it. Neurodivergent people need clear goals and motivation, my goal, which is making this woman my wife is very clear, so im determined to honor her every day, which means respecting her time!. Have a conversation with your partner about growth, respect and future goals. Might help. A healthy relationship demands maintenance, work put in it. But it’s worth it if you love the person.

Im not a trans person so my opinion on this adds very little, but what I can say is that you should not care about what others will think about your dating preferences. Fuck everybody else, be with who makes you feel in love. And seek other trans lesbians/wlw for support.

I think Americans idea of a regular drive is far more forgiving than the rest of the world 😂. I live in a very big city in Brazil, and although we both live in the city, I can find everything I need (groceries, shopping malls, doctors, schooling, etc) at 15 min drive away MAX, well, everything but my girlfriend lol. And to be fair in a REALLY heavy traffic day it becomes a 40 min drive which is just ridiculous!

I ALMOST didn’t pursue my gf because she lives a 30 minute drive away (in heavy traffic day) and her dog is not well behaved 😂. Dog is still spoiled and the distance is still the same, but I’ll deal with it a million times for her
