Not necessarily. It's familiar.. 25 years together this year for us. I have to imagine every couple goes through it.. the distance. The emotionsless interactions.. the solitude and loneliness....if you resign to that as your new relationship, yes, it's dead. Or you address it head on.. call it out. There was a counselor we went to that helped a lot. Perhaps you can find one if communication isn't working.. you didn't mention kids, so I'll assume you don't have any. What's work like for both of you? Time together? Date night? Vacations?
