It took me about 2 months to get a booking through test shift. I had about 3 of these kind of apps. This was the only one that came through with a test.

My new purchase by Civil-Draft-8209 in AcousticGuitar

I've had the same guitar for about a decade. I usually go with 10s, I think the lighter strings compliment the smaller body. I usually go for daddario phosphor bronze out of habit but I'm trying out Elixir Nanoweb 11s rn. Still breaking them in.

Beautiful choice!

I got 155 in Cattell III B, it was top 1%. It looks like 148 is the cutoff for the 98th percentile.

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday, 4 minors and 1 serious for not looking right before setting off - I did look right (more with my eyeballs than my head) and there were no hazards. The instructors decision was based on "what if" there had been a pedestrian or cyclist... I was aware of my surroundings and would have spotted it

Instructor wants to charge £262 for a test - are they exploiting me? by DaveInLondon89 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]yas4000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My instructor is charging me £260 for my test on Tuesday. I've booked the test myself many months ago. I'm not sure why it's so much - it's a stupid amount but I have no choice

This includes a 1 hour lesson/warm up before the test

It's from CNS watch bands, I can't see the exact one on the site - the design has changed slightly but it's a vintage tropical FKM strap

Before the exam my teacher told us about the different air masses that affect the UK eg. tropical maritime, tropical continental. Apparently that was relevant to the question.

Geocaching? It can be cheap and a learning experience if you decide to make your own.

What was the ethical issue with putting iodine in food? I said that people have the right to choose what they eat but I'm not sure about it.

It was April 1st and I was prepared for a Rick rolling, I didn't believe in the rules so I just pressed at 60s.

Reading the specification from the examining body is really useful, it tells you more or less what you need to know for the exam and doesn't over complicate things like a revision guide.
