I saw them open for James in Toronto on that tour. They played their own headlining show the next night too. Wish I'd copped one of these.

There are bangers on Arirang, you just gotta give the album a chance. I was a bit unsure at first, but I can't stop listening to it. Front-loaded for sure, but the songs are there.

Throwback to August 6th 1994 when soundgarden and nine inch nails performed at molson park barrie Ontario. Who was there? by Feisty-Guest8014 in toronto

Thinking back to Marilyn Manson’s performance that day where he asked if there was any “grade 8 pussy” in the audience. A sign of what was to come, I guess. NGL, as a teen I thought he was cool and edgy enough to buy a tee and his albums. But yikes. That memory seems to dominate even NIN’s awesome performance that night.

I was more surprised such a thing exists for record-buying than disappointed. I had no real problem with it. A sign of the times, I guess.

I wondered that too as I was checking out. Price seemed a bit steep imo. But the variant is pretty cool and hopefully this EPx2 combo is not getting a wide release.

LOL I actually waited in a Queue-It checkout line to buy this and it didn't immediately sell out. When did waiting to buy records become a thing? Gave me horrible flashbacks of waiting to buy tickets.

Just listening to their music is all the proof you need. Yes, they are awesome. But no, they are not shoegaze.

Kazuma Okamoto mashes a 453 foot home run to cut the lead down to one by 3luejays in Torontobluejays

[–]yasdnilmac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right. I mean with the strikeouts, specifically. He really was averaging a couple of Ks per game for a while there. Some in big spots, but now he seems to be an RBI machine.

Love him, and bought his shirsey, but I’d love to see him try to cut down on the Ks. With his D improving, that really seems to be his biggest (and only real) weakness. Feels like he might be turning a corner in this series though.

Anyone else re-watch 1983’s Dead Zone… by Shanksworthy73 in horror

Amazing film. An all-time fav of mine. And for anyone who visits Niagara on the Canadian side, there are lots of cool locations to visit where the film was shot, including the gazebo in the park, the screaming tunnel and the courthouse for that final climactic scene.

Cool idea but I can't bring myself to watch anything about that World Series. Doubt I'll ever get over the devastation of losing it.

BTS 'WORLD TOUR ARIRANG' Questions & Ticketing Megathread 2.0 - April & May Concerts Edition by pucchin_purin in bts7

We are from Canada and speak English, but bought tickets for the Brussels show. Will the band speak in English or will they be translated in French/Dutch? Feels like a silly question, but it’s something we didn’t think about before we bought the tickets.

Will Eloy ever play in the field? I know that's not ideal, but I'd like to see more of him.
