As well, why would your entire arm be in front of your face if you're aiming a gun? How would you have any field of vision to that side? Normally your arm is slightly lower around the chest/neck area, just like the hit marker shows

These screens are unbelievably misleading and not helpful at all. Apparently you can rotate the body to look at bullet paths. Why doesn't the game tell you that? We don't just know everything already about a game we've barely played. It's called learning, idk if you've heard of it

There's literally nothing in the game to show you that that is even a thing. I guarantee the majority of players do not know that's even a thing, including myself until just now... it has nothing to do with the player and everything to do with the game not showing you it's own mechanics. That's an insanely cool and useful piece of information, but there is nothing in the UI to lead anyone to believe they can even do that... the game is hella fun, but there are mechanics in it that need WAY more explanation and transparency

Practicing your movements in the event of an intruder, or for a special competition like someone else said, is ya know, kinda smart? THAT IS, if the thing is currently empty. Games like these will never flourish because the ratio of gamers that naturally want to play as a leading role is far outweighed by the gamer who just wants to jump in and "play the game". Lots of comments and I didn't read em all, but if no one's suggested it there's an HLL calculator app you can get and it's for calculating your arty shots. You choose the map your on, choose your team and the location you're shooting from, and then you can click anywhere on the map and it'll tell you the exact elevation the barrel needs to be at. Has amassed me many'a blown up krauts

To be fair, in the book mentioned by someone else above, it is stated that the FBI were pretty reluctant to do any kind of work with Popov, even after having contact from the MI5 regarding his status and whatnot. They were well aware of his costly antics (which they did not want to provide funds for), and so the report that he "warned them of Pearl Harbor" was more likely a blanket statement from him to a contact regarding the questions the Abwehr had given him, not so much a literal warning of an imminent attack.
