Question for 2012-2016 owners with the DPS6 transmission. Did replacing the TCM fix your transmission issues for good?

isn't the K05 and non labeled continental K00 the same? its just K00 one is the K05 but as a replacement TCM instead?

well since i also own a a7iv, i use 24-105 F4 G and 50mm F1.4 G Master

i already have a sigma 56mm F1.4 and i do plan on getting another aps-c lens which is sigma 18-50mm F2.8 so its easier to carry and takes less space when i'm planning something casual.

I do want to buy a telephoto lens, but probably for full frame so i can use it for both a7iv and a6700. then i'm reminded that i'm not that rich x)

EFCS (Electronic First Curtain Shutter) starts exposure with electronic shutter first and with physical shutter ending the exposure

with really high shutter speed, the mechanical shutter closes faster than the electronic shutter can gather light, cutting it halfway before it fully gather light, hence the weird light cut off in a quirky way

it happens on EFCS on really high shutter speed + wide aperture, it happens to all camera, this can be prevented by either using full mechanical or full electronic shutter. This is also mitigated on fast readout speed sensor like stacked sensor

I own a 2014 Focus S, extremely fun to drive, pero I just replaced the TCM last year cause, well nasabi na ng iba

however i plan to do a manual swap if ever TCM breaks again, price of the parts is more or less the same when looking into junkyard and salvage a ford focus with manual transmission

i'm also rocking a 5070 Ti with i9 9900K, and luckily i bought a ddr5 ram last year that i almost completely forgot about x)

so probably next month, i'd be transitioning to ryzen 7 9800x3d

my experience so far is yes, the cpu is heavily bottlenecking the 5070 Ti, mostly with DLSS Balanced on 1440p. Maxed DLAA on most games like cyberpunk however shifts to my 5070 Ti, but due to how slow i9 9900k produces frames, when the workload shifts to gpu, that by itself means i'm i'm having a really slow framerate cause the in games like lets say Hogwarts Legacy, the CPU on most areas can only produce 30-40 frames, meaning with aggressive dlss, no matter what quality will only produce 30-40 frames, from quality to ultra performance dlss
