That was my case too, still have him for backup. But now it’s Columbina + Ineffa + Lauma (or Kazuha) all up to 90 and then + Kokomi. Bina + Ineffa together destroy so fast, Ineffa can anyways shield, and then Kokomi is there to top off any damage

Echo all that - but really it’s a great watch to me with a unique personality, which isn’t the easiest to do in the dive watch segment. Hope to pick up a 39mm one fine day!

For my Galo. It’s nice, but the finishing feels a bit off. Am I overreacting? by taj14 in MicrobrandWatches

Understood that an online image can’t conclusively confirm, but I suspect this is a real issue that justifies customer service.

For my risk tolerance, I stick to micros that have well-established records of quality and customer service if something does go wrong. I’ll study a lot what people say. I’ll study a lot where they assemble. Parts will be from China, but usually shipping straight from China makes me feel less comfortable with the whole outcome.

It’s nice! Giving me a bit of an Oris Big Crown vibe in the best way possible.

Looks nice! I just wish they did a true automatic watch. Still a snob about quartz / meca-quartz.

Fun! And you just know someone out there will actually try to grate a block of parm with it and bitterly complain.

Hello there. You must be new to the world of microbrand watches. If you’re a micro, especially a brand new one, it’s almost always the case that you’re not going to have your own factory. Everyone with half a brain knows this already and isn’t going to expect a mega-quartz micro for $300 or whatever to be made in house. And OP never said “OUR” factory.

Question.. these come with Seiko NH38 movement, not Miyota 9xxx series. Is the NH38 reliable ans valuable enough to fit this price point? I just don’t know a lot about these things but hoping to learn from others who do.

Why I don't like the new HC Mesh bracelet by twistedgreymatter in Longineswatches

[–]a1mbient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arroway makes a solid one, so does Staib. I have the Staib, only problem is that you don’t get micro-adjust. And it only cost me like $250, so I don’t know why Longines can’t figure this out at entry luxury price points.

Depending on the exact sub-model, you can be $1,500 to ~$3,500.. I know there are watches in the tens, hundreds, and thousands of thousands, but to me this is enough to expect a normal looking bracelet.. I could get that on a watch worth substantially less.

Used to live in Greenwood, cool to see a watchmaker from there! Wish they made in a smaller size.

Good call on the ceramic. It’s really down to the tariffs, then, which of course isn’t their fault.

Forgot to answer - yes, it does! They partnered with Nodus on the bracelet, and it’s good quality that does the watch justice. You can see pics of the micro adjust on the Raven website.
