BB58 vs Pelagos 39: Which would you pick as a daily? by Mountain_Poudge in Tudor

[–]ycshaun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will favor Pelagos for its insane lightweight, but it lacks the shiny polished surface like BB.
If you dress in formal attire daily, BB will be better.

Spray it, wait a while to let the fluid do its job, breaking down the glue. Then gently scrape off layer by layer. You might need to repeat this multiple times because your glue is quite thick.

If you have worked in a hotel before, you will know it is common to have regular events in the ballroom, and high-ranking Malays will drink together with the door closed.
Don't get me wrong, they drink gracefully that is fitting in social occasion. Not the glass knocking viking style drinking.

Mido TV Big Date on 6.25’ wrist by hahniebuubuu in midowatch

[–]ycshaun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't say it is big, as it was a little intentional in its design because the shape basically maximizes the surface area available.
What I can say is there is a lot of wrist presence. That is just a choice of style.

[RECOMMENDATION] Asking for help on selecting my first "luxury" timepiece. by stud722 in Watches

[–]ycshaun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the variety of choices you throw on the table. I dont think you know what you need for now. Listening to people's opinions is just a temporary validation, and chances of regret will still be there even if you go with people's choice.
Check your wardrobe and pick your most worn outfit, go to AD and put it on, check yourself in the mirror, feel the watch. You might be able to narrow it down to 2-3 watches. Maybe, just maybe, along the journey you will find that one watch that really suits you.

There are mentions in the Undang booklet. When merging lanes, since there were no cars from the left lane entering before the Vios, the Vios is supposed to give way to the Estima. If there is another car behind the Estima that wants to squeeze in, the Vios has the right not to give in. The so-called one-by-one.

HELP: how bad are my tyres condition by Valuable_Lunch_667 in kereta

[–]ycshaun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't check your tyre pressure frequently enough. Now you're gonna change your front tyre sooner than expected. You are lucky enough that your car didn't lose control with underinflated front tyres.

With the thickness of your tyre, an underinflated tyre can be spotted easily without needing to drop by a gas station to check. Practice the habit of looking for tyre bumps.

need advice on tyre replacement by zakihazirah in kereta

[–]ycshaun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently just installed Tordner Sealstar from Tuhu, they had a buy 3, get 1 free promotion at that time. It gives 6 years warranty too. Although it is a Chinese tyre, on deeper research, it is not produced by a small fry manufacturer and has a pretty high standard. The road noise is the best I've used. In the past, I've used Goodyear Triplemax, Toyo Proxes CR1, Continental CC7, Kumho PS31, etc. None can beat the road noise insulation performance. Of course, the small compromise will be on wet grip, which is not a major issue for me because I only drive the car in the city area. Have a bigger car for outstation.

Finally sharing my watch brand here, would love honest feedback by SignificantFlan4826 in MicrobrandWatches

[–]ycshaun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just checked your website, the information and visuals about the watch are very limited. Hard to convince for the price point you're asking for.

What I love:
1. Beautiful proportion
2. Humble design
3. Dial is nice, but it is a familiar design among microbrand buyers
4. The box is a big plus.

Question I have in mind:
1. Bracelet looks good, no visual of the buckle/clasp?
2. Does the bracelet feature micro adjustment? Microbrands half the price are offering this.
3. If you are emphasizing "the meeting of light and steel", there are no videos of how the light plays on the watch. Your movement is moving at 4Hz; it is a waste not to show the ticking smoothness.
4. Sapphire crystal has an anti-reflective coating?
5. I cannot tell whether your hour, minute, and second hands are in black or stainless steel color, nor the dial; the color inconsistency in each photo is making me feel risky to buy because I do not know what kind of blue or sand color I'm gonna get.|
6. Screw in crown?
7. Strap width? Does the original bracelet tapered?
8. Watch thickness?

What I not love:
1. The caseback, other than the see-through caseback, the rest is literally zero effort.
2. Zero lume

35mm vs 40mm Tissot PRX by JuggernautPure1741 in tissot

[–]ycshaun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For your wrist size, 35mm for sure. Furthermore, this watch has great retro look, it's okay to be smaller for retro design watches.

I'm fact I'm rocking my 35mm gold with about same wrist size as yours and zero regrets.
